This location has to be either closed for business OR sold to the people/managers who actually care about your customers and restaurant quality.Highlights of our family lunch at this empty restaurant on Tuesday:- Hot tea per person will cost You almost $10 per person (almost $40 total) and the server did not inform us that is the case prior to ordering- Rice had a hard top layer and wet inside; Did you use frozen rice with microwave to prepare it?!- Server did not write the order and 3 / 10 dishes were not delivered but they demanded to pay for it at the end.- 1h waiting for the first meal to come out of the kitchen- Most of the meals were cold when served to us- Dim Sum was not refreshed and it seems a microwaved from frozen technique was used used to prepare it.It felt like it was some kind of bad joke on my family; which cost us over $140 for meals which almost are not even edible - Good Luck to your business model!

Pros:chicken wonton soup is delicious ?Curry is delicious perfect amount of spice and flavorFried rice was also very goodCons: guy up front didn't seem very happy or want to be very helpfulWas told the curry was potatoes carrots green beans and chicken and it was not.It was chicken green beans carrot cabbage and mushrooms. (I'm allergic to mushrooms so was pretty disappointed but picked them out)Over all the food was delicious!

A shoutout to Daniel, who works at Boling's at the Plaza location - You are the best! Daniel has worked there for 20+ years, and his service is top notch. He always goes and above beyond to take good care of his customers. He puts his heart into what he does everyday, and he would remember regular customer's likes and try to personalize their services and take care of small details to make them feel like VIPs. We have seen him interactive with lots of regular customers, and he genuinely enjoys taking good care of his customers and you can tell he takes pride in seeing satisfying customers. Between the excellent foods, top notch services Daniel and others provide there at Boling's on the Plaza, Boling's is one of ours and many others' favorite dining spot in KC! Thanks Daniel!

I have liked bolings for years. however, recently, i have had several negative interactions with them where the server was exceptionally rude and would act like he was doing me a favor by taking my order. Then most recently, when i ordered something they burn't it. I'm not talking about slightly well done, the egg rolls were actually black. Because it was take-out, i didn't realize until i was home. Frankly, this place has gone downhill and the service is the same.

So nice to dine at a CLEAN Asian restaurant.Table side ervice was superb. Never once had to request anything. Wait staff was right there filling our drinks, bringing flatware and sauces. Anticipating our needs. Pleasant, attentive and swift wait staff.Wonderfully prepared, flavorful and beautifully plated appetizers and entree.

Restaurant was a big disappointment. Decor is dark without the slightest bit of a Chinese theme. Food was just mediocre, not as good as many independent Chinese local restaurants where you'd pay less for better food.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in KC! Truly authentic cuisine with great dim sum and Chinese dishes. Beautiful decor and ambiance! Service was a bit slow though the servers were kind and friendly. We waited almost 20 min for dessert but they gave it to us for free because of how long it took! Always a great experience!
