Visit here over lunch quite a bit. Food is always good as well as service. Nice menu selection for a smaller restaurant/bar.

While food was good, we went for happy hour and it was definitely false advertising. Whiskey Wednesday is supposed to be $5. $5 whiskey was $7 for one person because they had ice. Another person asked for $5 whiskey and they charged him $7 because he had no ice (neat). I asked for $5 whiskey and named a whiskey and server said that wasn't on the $5 list. I named another one and she said it was. I ended up ordering 3. After getting the bill,i saw i was charged $21 instead of $15. I'm guessing they thought i would just let it go like the other two people did that were overcharged. I did not. Server took it back and changed it, but I'm not going back there because they draw you in with the low price and charge for something stupid like ice. Ridiculous!Parking: Very difficult to park. Tiny parking lot. Better to park on street and walk.

Stopped in for a quick bite 2/12/24. About 12 people in the place at the time of my visit. I think the bartenders name was Ashley. She was rather rude to me. I asked for some sugar for my tea. She gave me a cup that had only 2 real sugar packets. Every time I tried to get her attention. She ignored me, but paid attention to the regular customers. It got to a point I was afraid to ask her for anything because she was ready to bite my head off. So I talked to another employee. I asked if he was a manager, he said yes. I told him what went on. He told me a 58 year old man, " watch your language." My reply, " it's a bar and I'm sure you've heard much worse language." Needless to say I wanted out of there ASAP. If this is how they treat a new customer. Don't go there unless you like to be ignored, spoke to like you don't matter, the hamburger was dry, the tots were too salty. I had to ask for more ketchup because they might go broke giving a little more than a small cup. I also asked the manager for mayonnaise. I wasn't about to ask the bartender Ashley. I had enough abuse from her already.Update 2/12/24. As you see the owner or manager wasn't there. So that is here say. Made up a story to cover their butt.?. Do you have it on film ? Prove what you allegedly say. Sorry your bartender can't handle more than 7 customers. Hate to see what happens when you're packed. Other customers will suffer. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. Sorry she was so tired returning from her trip. Maybe she needs a longer vacation ? you should have heard language out of her mouth. She's no lady talking like a sailor. Again, it's a bar not a church. ?Thank you

I got the "loaded burnt ends" grilled cheese. Other than adding pickles not sure what was " loaded about the sandwich. It was tasty. However and I know taste is subjective, but the tator tots were overly salted. could only eat 1 or 2. With the delivery service I paid over 30 bucks for a sandwich and chips & queso. The chips & queso were ok.

It was....noisey. Which isn’t horrible, as it was late Saturday. The crowd was mixed, but it didn't put off those vibes where you need to be close to an exit in case some nonsense went down.We went because the menu looked phenomenal online, however it just was not the best. It lacked flavor, like it was cooked with nothing at all. Not even salt and pepper. The waitress was great though, and the guys at the door were nice as well

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm going out of my way to leave a bad review.I'm just floored with how bad that burger was. It was actually insulting. Especially the part where they claim that they're made to order. Both burgers we got were congratulations. Mine was ordered medium rare, and hers medium.Nachos? A joke. All the mess, none of the flavor. You won't even melt the cheese, huh.The pulled pork on the KC burger? Actually pretty good! That's when I realized what kind of place Brickhouse is. It's an insecure kitchen. And rightfully so. They don't know how to cook a burger to order, so all of their burgers have extravagant toppings to cover up their weaknesses. That's what's so insulting to be honest. People who think they can fake a burger. When really it's the easiest dish in the world to execute. Just learn how to cook the burger! If you can just do that you don't have to waste time and resources with things like pulled pork and pimento and fried pickles.
