Stopped by in between the Big 12 games today and the 2 female bartenders were very friendly and down to earth. Drinks were good, great happy hour, and it was nice to sit at a bar with bartenders who were friendly and not too stuffy.

Consistently excellent. The food is about quality and simple flavor profiles, well-executed. I noticed some of their specials have more adventurous flavors. The service from our server TJ and the SA's was excellent and appropiately attentive, even on a busy Saturday night. The ambiance is calm (which is hard to do in a busy restaurant), so kudos for that.Here is how the specific food items were on this visit:- crab cakes are always full of chunks of crab meat with minimal filler, I really enjoy this style vs the heavily breaded ones- the steak (fillet) was very tender, if just a touch undercooked, but had an excellent charred flavor. The seasoning was perfect- the scallops were the real deal. Nicely caramelized, slightly sweet, mellow and thick in texture, melted in your mouth- the lobster bisque is one of my favorite things here. They put chunks of lobster claw meat in the bowl and pour the bisque over them. It's velvety and creamy with great lobster flavor- the shrimp scampi appetizer was yum! Their scampi sauce has some more tomato flavor and color than others I have tasted, and I love it!Overall, we enjoyed our visit very much

Everything was pretty great. The food, the service, the atmosphere... all very good. I liked the ambiance of the fires burning, and it was cold outside so the fire was warm, but the smell of propane burning kind of spoiled it a little.

Grouper was excellent. If one joins their rewards program, they will get special offers. These offers are worth the time and effort because without it, downtown is so crowded and has little parking. One will walk several blocks, so go on "off" hours. Bristol serves dinner all day. Lunch is until 2pm.

as a seafood restaurant, both of our fish entrees were not cooked correctly which was surprising. They really need to replace their hard, dried out dinner rolls with something better. These are hardly edible.

Food was absolutely delicious. Prepared well, served well. The filet mignon was terrific! It was a lot louder in there than expected, almost a sports bar type vibe in the front half which wasn't quite what we were hoping/expecting. But other that it was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Bristol's Sunday brunch was on point. All you can eat oysters and seared tuna? Delicious cooked options, salad, prime rib, etc - you definitely get your money's worth. We also bought a bottle of champagne (which was 50% off on Sundays) and they brought complimentary juices to the table to mix our mimosas. Our server kept our drinks filled, our table clear and even brought us a complimentary order of donuts! Every moment of our experience felt top-shelf and you can tell that they pride themselves on true customer service. It's rare to find restaurants with this caliber of service and at this price point. Bravo.
