Compared to the butcher shop, El Torito is much better in a restaurant because there are almost no people and they ship you very quickly and the food is very delicious and authentically Mexican!??

I was a frequent customer of this place mostly for the tacos but this time I had a bad experience we ordered and 25 minutes passed without them giving us our order we went to cancel because the time was too long and when they gave us our money back they were giving us the We let the cashier know half of what we paid, in the end we got the total, and we left without eating or ordering anything else.

I am a regular customer of this store, I like to come eat tacos, they are the best tacos in the area, but yesterday, December 27, I bought a Milanese cake to take away because I wanted it for my lunch at work and the truth is it is the worst cake I've ever eaten, the Milanese was very small, it only covered half of the bread, they didn't put jlapeños in it and to cover the Milanese part they filled it with lettuce and put excess mayonnaise on it, it's really the worst cake I've ever eaten, I honestly suggest change the cook

I ordered tamales for Christmas this year. Somehow the quoted price over the phone wasn't the correct price and they wouldn't honor what they told me over the phone. I still needed the tamales and didn't have the ability to go elsewhere at such a late time. So I was stuck, but I'd be careful ordering over the phone. I will not do that ever again. Highly disappointed!

This is a market/restaurant. The food is delicious. We drive 60 miles one way to eat here. They make their tortillas right in front of you. We always buy both the corn and flour tortillas. I've tried many of their food items and it is all delicious. I especially like the tamales and tacos. It's very casual. Around noon each day the place is packed.

We needed, yes needed, some takeout Mexican food on a Saturday evening. A negative rumor has been swirling about our usual taco place so I sent my husband to San Antonio this time. If you don't know, San Antonio is a Mexican grocery store that also sells made-to-order food. We hadn't been back for ages and I was hoping it was still as good as before. The asada tacos are single tortilla but the meat has better flavor and is less gristly than our usual. It also comes plain and you add your own onion and cilantro, which is for sure preferable when you have a picky eater in the house as I do. The quesadillas here are also really good. We ordered an asada (no pic, sorry), chicken (again, no pic), and chile relleno. All good. We bought the chips and salsa on the store side and they were delicious. Salsas were spicy but not melt-your-palate hot. This is a good spot when you need, yes need, some quick Mexican takeout and maybe a few things from the grocery store.

They have a great Delly, that serves all types of fresh burritos and tacos. Also has a seating area!

This place is such a hidden gem, I would highly recommend. The value is incredible, for both the quantity and quality of food they serve. They are located within a very small grocery-type store, so don't worry if it looks like you're in the wrong place. Once you walk in, walk past the cash registers to the back corner, where you can find the restaurant counter. I ordered the torta and it was definitely substantial. The bread was incredible soft and moist, and they gave plenty of meat. Service is quick and friendly, and there is a toppings bar where you can self serve a wide variety of sauces, raw onions, cilantro, and pico. Come check this place out!

AMAZING FOOD!! the best Mexican I've ever had in my life hands down. It was very busy in there so it was crowded around the toppings area and not much seating available...but SOOO worth it not even 2 minutes away from a couple parks you can take it to go and enjoy! i recommend this place to any and everyone who wants some good authentic Mexican!
