We received the best service from Mariclaire! She was thoughtful and went above and beyond always thinking of anything we may need before we even asked! Food was excellent and carrot cake is most definitely the best in the city and one of our favorite desserts!

We have picked Charlestons every date night for over 5 years, they have excellent service and food, their portion size is big so bring an appetite.

I placed a to go order, paid for it, and added a tip of more than 20%. As zi sat there, I watched others come in after me in groups of two and four. I ordered soup and a salad. The server checked in with those around me refilling water and suggesting appetizers as they waited. She never returned to me. I noticed the manager come over and look at me with the receipt in hand and speak with the server. She then turned and looked at me. A few moments later, I noticed the couple across from me ( that were seated more than 15 minutes after me seemingly be served the same soup and salad I ordered. A few minutes later, one of the tables of four received their food. This caused me to call the server order and ask if that was my orderShe said no, there was an error with my order, and the manager was working on it. minutes later, the manager came over with my food. No explanation nor apology. I had to ask him to come over. I asked why I was ignored and served after others. He said there was a problem with my order. I asked why I wasn't given an explanation and apology? Only then did he apologize. Never did the server. He attempted to offer something. I explained I had not come expecting anything free. What I wanted was my food and customer service. What I got was the realization that I was served after the people who did not look like me, and I was expected to just sit there and take what they felt I deserved. To boot my oder was wrong. I paid for the large bowl and received the cup and the wrong salad dressing.

I've been before on a night it wasn't busy and service was fine. Went tonight with my parents and aunt and uncle and after we placed the orders, we hardly saw our server. Maybe they are short staffed? Whatever the case, it was good but not perfect. Would go again though, so don't hold that too much against them.

Great food, great service. My wife and I frequent this place because it is easy and has been a consistently good experience. They are clearly managed well, as all the servers work a a team to run food, drinks, etc.

My friends and I ate there tonight. Our waitress was Very top tier professional. She anticipated we didn't have to ask.Our food was very well cooked. The other staff were very good also. I look forward to returning in the future. Charelstons is a very nice restaurant.

I think our expectations were maybe a little too high for our first visit to Charleston's. I find it annoying to not be able to make reservations, even if b there are only b 2 of us, especially when you expect it to be a very busy night. We were seated immediately and our server came to get our drink orders. She was very nice but didn't seem to have her head in the game. Our drinks and food came out pretty quick. The food was excellent minus the salad we didn't even get. The food was good enough that we will go back. There were other items that we want to try.

The rye was good. I was looking for a Hawaiian rye that replaced the one I tasted when Houston was at the plaza. This didn't overtake that, but Charleston is somewhere I'll want to try again! The chicken fried chicken looked fantastic. Service was good, and it was Valentine's Day! There was able to accommodate me at the last minute.

We have been meaning to try out Charleston's for a while and finally made plans for Valentines Day. I called to make reservations, expecting it would be a busy night. It really annoyed me to find out they dont take reservations for less than 5. We ended up going the next day. We were seated immediately, and our server came by quickly to take our drink order. She was very nice but seemed to be out of it. Their menu seems to be a mix of stuff without much direction. We were a bit disappointed with the interior. It was dated with all booths, and our tabletop had water rings on it. We had to repeat our order several times. When she she went to enter our order, she had to come back and ask again. Our drink and food came out quickly minus the salads. She apparently had forgotten them. Everything we had was very good. My GF had the fillet, and i got pork chops based on great reviews. We were happy with our food and will plan to give them another shot so we can try some other things. For our bill of $111 before tip, we just expected a little more.
