Just try it folks try their lunch special it's everyday Monday through Sunday which I love I can have a nice inexpensive lunch every day and I love their hot and sour soup full bean sprouts mushrooms tofu it's so delicious and not over if you're over 30 you know there's no good Chinese restaurants out there anymore all of it tastes the same this is just a good place if you just really craving something and you want it so enjoy and their egg rolls and crab rangoon are pretty good have lunch and enjoy

Ordered our food to go as we were driving home. When I went in to pick up our order, my first impression was that it's really not a place to dine in any longer, but they were getting plenty of take out business, which is good for them. I only had to wait a few minutes for my food and it was easy to pay at the counter. Once we got home, it was easy to see that we received large portions of each entree. Hubby tried the cashew chicken and I had the Kung Pao triple delight. The cashew chicken was good; however, it had lots of mushrooms, which he does not like. Easy to pick them out though. I enjoyed mine, but will probably order something else the next time. It was a little light on sauce for me, but had plenty of protein and celery in it. The hot & sour soup was good, but not our favorite. This will be an easy neighborhood spot for us for whenever the craving for Chinese food hits!

Do not waste your money here. They lady at the cashier with short hair is worthless and has no business skills with customers. Ordered food online with my card and had my confirmation email yet she said "you no pay" twice loudly. I left and went to another Chinese restaurant with no issues and China Dragon J charged my card without me getting my order. I'm letting my bank take care of this as I nor people I know will NEVER EAT HERE ANYTIME...... what a SHIT SHOW!

One star because the system won't let me rate lower - Terrible waste of money and timeI ordered dinner from China Dragon Restaurant on Red Bridge Road last night, and it was the worst dining decision I ever made. I paid over $100 for food that was inedible, and they forgot part of my order. I had to drive back to get the missing items, and I witnessed the cooks yelling angrily at each other. The atmosphere was chaotic and unpleasant. I regret wasting my money, time, and appetite on this place. I hope this is not the norm for this restaurant, but I will never go back there again. I do not recommend this place to anyone who values good food and service.

Great American Chinese food and a cool atmosphere. The hot & sour soup is probably some of the best in Kansas City next to Sushi Uni, and the kung pao chicken has legitimate kick.

Had a really bad experience with an employee over the phone. Wouldn’t sell us what we wanted to order (wanted extra of something very minor) because he was “saving it for other customers.” We would have paid any amount? He hung up on me. Called back to figure out what happened. He hung up again. Who does that? We are local and used to order from this restaurant a lot, but I don’t see that we can do that now. Great way to alienate a loyal customer base. You may not have good experiences here. More expensive than it’s worth anyway. Go to Thai House if you want to spend the money.
It is overall okay. Hit or miss on what you order. I personally enjoy that some dishes, including the orange chicken, have some extra spice compared to other restaurants. Service is always fast and friendly. Would recommend takeout as it's not a great place to sit down.
