Hands down the best Chinese food in Kansas city. From appetizers to main meals, this is delicious quality food. Ben and Sue, the owners are amazingly nice people. They have watched me grow up and I'm happy they get to watch my child grow up when we come in.

what the hell is this rice is past its expiration date, chicken or not chicken has the smell of urine and there is a coating on the pieces of chicken. terrible horror! I don't recommend anyone to go there. today is the date of the day 01/02/2024 there was one strange man there, very Chinese, but apparently he doesn’t know how to cook! the food looks like it's expired, it looks like someone has already chewed this chicken, spat it out and put it in front of me.

I'm from Washington state. People in the reviews saying this place is good... they have questionable taste. The lo mein noodles aren't good. I don't know what noodles they use, but back home, they have the correct noodles. My son won't touch the lo mein in this state but eats them in WA. I'm pregnant and craving Chinese food. So I like that this place is close. But I have a sister in law from China, and I think I'll see if she can make my food going forward and specifically lo mein. I did like the egg drop soup. My husband said the crab Rangoon was okay, but again, not like home. There's more crab and less of the filling stuff this place uses

I really wanted to like this, very nice man at counter. I knew it wouldn't be Bo Lings level food , but their was absolutely no flavor, no seasoning, only after I added soy sauce could I even partially call it Chinese. I don't know what these high reviews are about but my sons lo mein was bland also. My dog got the dry bland pork out of my meal an the spring roll was a frozen brand im sure. My only advice is Fish sauce, 5 spice, oyster sauce, sesame oil, even I have those seasoning in my cabinet.

I have been eating here pretty much my entire life. I moved 30 minutes away and still make it there once a week. I've tried finding Chinese food that was anything like Chinese Garden and I'm convinced it just doesn't exist. There is nothing like Chinese Garden

This was the best little place. I just moved to the neighborhood and have been packing/moving/unpacking me and my daughter for what feels like ages, so I ordered here for dinner for us. The portions were such that we can eat on this meal all weekend long. Everything was delicious and super well packaged for take out and very fresh when I brought it home. I really appreciated the care they took with everything and having it ready on time also! The lady at the counter was very friendly and she remembers her regulars. Looking forward to becoming one myself! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you again for providing a good meal for us.
