I've never been, and only recently became aware of this club. I saw some FB posts of spoken word nights. And spoke to Millage Gilbert about a month ago. He is a great blues player in Kansas City, who plays with KC Kelsey, another great bluesman. Millage said they have a Saturday evening gig from around 6 to 9. Today I called the club, but no answer. I contacted an individual who had reviewed this club on FB. She said the live music is on Friday night. I'm always looking for some good, live blues at small to midsize clubs in KC - not easy to find. So hope to make it by soon and hope to see some live blues. Then I can give you my take after a live and in living color experience!
