A THUMB TACK WAS IN MY FOOD. I ordered a take out order that came without utensils or the extra sauces that I was charged for. This is a consistent issue I have with my take out orders from this location. I then took a bite of my fried rice and pulled a thumb tack from my mouth. I called and spoke to the GM with the intention of bringing awareness to the danger of what happened and they hung the phone up. I had no expectation of a discount or refund. I also work in the service industry and wanted to bring awareness to the extremely dangerous SHARP OBJECT in my food not to mention cross contamination. Will not be ordering from here again. Very disappointed that the manager couldn't have cared less and actually hung up on me while trying to just inform him of these issues.

I always seek out new restaurants. I was walking around in downtown #Kansas City quite famished. I had already eaten at almost every other restaurant within 10 blocks.I walked in the ? and I must say the atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting. I was greeted by several staff. They were all wearing wide open smiles. Kit was my server. She was so attentive, kind, and accommodating.I ordered seafood fried ?. You might think that fried rice is the same all over. Let me say that it is not. My meal was so scrumptious. The flavors exploded in my ?. I enjoyed the complexities of flavors and textures! The aroma was even more amazing.Unfortunately, they were out of the and ? spring rolls. I plan on returning soon to give those a try. What a wonderful dining experience!

Waited for a host but nobody greeted us. The guy finally acknowledged us, and we sat down and waited for service. Realized it was through a QR code and the guy didn't even let us know. Realized the "waitress" wasn't going to help us when we saw her sitting on her phone. Not really sure why you're able to sit down if that's the case. Better off ordering takeout elsewhere...

Menu was decent but not great, I'd say 2.75 out of 5. Too many similar types of sushi rolls. Food prepared well and tasted good. Prices were good nothing seemed overpriced compared to other places, would rate it 3.75 out of 5. Ambiance was good well decorated and clean rather lively place with a big bar sort of in the middle and another separate sushi bar, give it a 4 out of 5. Service was good. Received our food pretty quick and staff was tentative and will to help, 4 out of 5. Overall 3.75 out of 5.

The service was great! The manager was very warm & welcoming. The food was amazing! I'm from Hawaii so I know fresh fish when I see it and it did not disappoint. My server was great as well! She recommended the Hibiscus Blossom drink, which was so delicious. I highly recommend! Come here and you won't be let down. Great food, great service, chill but upbeat atmosphere. 10/10!

I came here for lunch on a weekend.Our waiter was openly frustrated with us. It started with him pitching cocktails to us and when we asked to start with sodas, he rolled his eyes and said "oh I thought it might be a good table".He told us to use the online menu to order, which matched the instructions on the table tent so we did, but then he was upset because apparently we were supposed to know not to follow instructions and just tell him our order later. Every time he interacted with us, he scolded us on not following his mysterious protocol but it was never explained what he wanted. Super odd.The food itself was decent. We got several sushi rolls and they were fresh and satisfying.

Mango roll is my go to..good sushi.I'm writing another/new review. I came in for lunch today 10/6/21 and it was a mess floors were sp dirty and STICKY. Dirty plates everywhere. Yikes.

Server was excellent at ensuring no extra sugar was in my drink. Sushi here isn't top of the line and there are maybe four or five total items to choose from, but it's a trendy busy date spot with good views in the downtown area.
Great establishment! Clean, great vibe, wonderful service!! I enjoy coming here and recommend it to anyone looking for a good dinner option.

This place is mine and the Hubby's date night spot! Anytime we want to get out and enjoy yummy drinks and the BEST sushi in town. We come here!The staff is always really nice and helpful and as well. I highly recommend for a nice date night or even a fun girls night out. They have a really nice roof top bar as well. Go Check it out! My favorite roll is the superman roll!

Had dinner with a friend after a night at Comic Con. Ordered with their QR code menu but they are attempting to return to physical menus. All the staff was polite. Everyone has their masks on accordingly. Ordered our food as depicted in the pictures (although we had some of our delicious potstickers already!) Great experience aside from us never receiving our side order of sauces (Sriracha for me and spicy mayo for my friend) and still being charged for it. Enjoyed the food, hoping it's just a small oversight.

I typically avoid this place because it's overpriced and overrated. I ordered a regular sized miso soup, and.. well.. the picture pretty much explains itself. I've taken shots bigger than the soup that was given to me. I can't believe I paid 3$ for this s****
