I ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken empanada and got 2 beef. The lady helping me knew so little English she couldn’t understand the type of rice, beans, or drink I wanted. My total was $17.90 for ONE MEAL. She short changed me the 10 cents (I paid with a $20) and was upset when I asked for the remainder. She just pointed to the tip jar. She had no idea how to get me a receipt and had to get a manager who also didn’t u sweat and I didn’t get all my change and took several minutes to get me a receipt. Food I did get was good but not what I ordered

It seems to me an excess on the part of the owners with quality vs price. There is nothing Peruvian about this lomo saltado, it seemed like it had been put in a frying pan and sautéed without flavor. Just like the tequeños that are de Pasapalo (mini party tequeños) are not normal tequeños, without cheese. Bad experience, I would not eat at this place again.

Everytime I go there I have to get an Arepa! Omg they have the best Arepas! Fresh made to order! Great customer service, and a chill vibe there. Also had the Lomo Saltado and that did not disappoint! So good!

The empanadas have very good seasoning! I recommend them although personally I like them crunchier! What I didn't like is that personally I felt a little disorganization among the employees, and I ordered 4 empanadas, 2 chicken empanadas, 2 meat empanadas to take away and they sold me the 4 chicken empanadas (I think it's part of the same disorganization that I felt). and I realized 3 hours later when I had already arrived from KC to Salina

I looove this small Venezuelan spot inside of Crown Center? I’ve gotten the empanadas several times and I cant try anything else bc each time I go I decide to get them again. I prefer the beef because I find the chicken tends to be more dry than I like. Though, I most recently shifted to the beef pastelitos bc the breading is sensational, I wish I had pictures but I don’t have enough patience The plátanos maduros/plantains are also one of my favorites ☺️Kid-friendliness: Certainly a family-friendly business.

I'm glad I was able to find this place again as it moved locations. I ordered the empanada combo which comes with 2 empanadas (chicken, beef or cheese filled) with rice and beans. My favorite has to be the beef empanada, it was so flavorful and paired well with the sides. I also tried their maracuya drink and it was so tasty and refreshing. Can't wait to come back.
