Bad attitude/customer service from the workers. I have been twice and each time not only were the workers rude to me but they were also rude to other customers that came in after me. Long wait time for the food alike everyone says and I typically spend anywhere from $40-50 dollars each time I have gotten food from them. I will NEVER spend my money with this establishment again and I suggest you don’t either. The food was ok. They need to train their workers better in terms of customer service

I’ve went here a few times. The first time the food was amazing. I always order the same 3 things cassava leaf, egusi, samosas and fufu.. the food has tasted different each time since, and not for the better. The quality is not consistent. The wait times are awful, I always call in my order and add on an additional 30 minutes to what they tell me but there has been times. it was still not ready. Once they hadn’t even opened and it was an hour after opening time. I paid online and tried to get my money back for over a month before just filing a dispute with my bank.

Wait times are absolutely ridiculous, I mean ridiculous. Will never support them again. It's crazy because they talk about us for not being on time or professional yet you call in an order 40 minutes ahead of time to go wait on it for another 30 minutes inside.

OMG THE MEAT PIES ARE SOOO GOOD, im sad that they always run out so quickly but its definitely worth it. We also had the goat meat pepper soup, very comforting and delicious, also the fufu was soft and delicious too. My favorite is the meat pies, i dont get them anywhere else. Also i want to know whats in that sauce, it adds a nice spicy kick to the meat pie.

I heard about this restaurant on FACEBOOK and I wanted to try it. Made plans for today with two other friends. We walked in only one table had persons sitting at it two persons sitting at the bar. We were greeted by the guest not a worker till later who said have a seat. About 8mins later we got bottled water no words were said. I asked for another menu I guess she never heard me. We sat there for over 15mins with no service no I’ll be with you, do you questions about the menu no type of Acknowledgment at all. The lady who may have been the server only took time with the persons that came in after us who sat at the bar. Short of it all after almost 20mins we left. After driving over 30mins and a week of planning and being excited to try something new this was a let down. No i will not return.

Food is good! Staff needs to work on their customer service skills. Wait time is absolutely ridiculous. I waited an hour for 3 orders of peanut butter soup.

Had someone place an order at the time the say they open only for me to get there 30-45 minutes after they open and the food to not be ready! If you open at 11am, that means the food should be done and prepared before 11am NOT you just waking up and opening up the business. Completely unprofessional. As a driver I was told to cancel the order which cost me 20 minutes of driving & $15 — Yes it’s about the money but more importantly it’s about my time wasted. If you order food from here, do it 2-3 hours in advance to give them time to have it “ready” — Completely unprofessional

Went in to get a door dash order... lady with short hair didn't speak just looked. Asked for order she rolled her eyes and got an attitude. Bet I won't spend a dime here... RUDE

The people working here do not care if you live or die. I was so excited to try something more unique to the American palate, and if it is going to take you 15 minutes to take my order when the restaurant is empty, and then another 65 minutes to bring our a rice dish you need to give me a heads up. We ended up having to ask them to give us to go boxes (as life moves on baby), and then I had to ask a second time for plastic forks as well. Unbelievable. Budgeting an hour to get lunch and finding it wasn't enough is unacceptable without disclaimers. I asked the server if there were any vegan options for my friend, and she looked at me like I was stupid and pointed to the vegetarian options. Vegetarian is not always vegan. The restaurant itself is a bit dirty as well, and the bathroom was unpleasant. The food, when it finally came out, was pretty good, but indeed oily as other reviewers have noted. I did quite like the plantains, and portion sizes were great. This may be nitpicking, but I hated that they provide purified bottled water instead of tap, filtered, or even spring water. Order in advance if you want anything. Sitting in is a nightmare.

I made a reservation online. Was told by Google I could not and needed to call. No problem, I called a guy reserved me a booth. We get there, we aren’t greeted. After standing and waiting for over five minutes, I seat myself. We are given bottles of water, so it is apparent they know we are there. Then I watch as people who came after us, got their order taken, while we were waiting still probably 20-30mins just to get our order taken. I finally give my order and emphasize that I want whole Tilapia, Jollof rice, plaintains, and sauce. I had a feel I had to do this in case the meal comes with white rice. The server reassures me, the meal comes exactly as I wanted it. We also order samosas as an appetizer. I had to return the first batch since the two were unequally filled and one was just lots of fried pastry with little meat, and the second was loaded with meat. They correct the issue, and bring more. Better than the last batch but still a little too much dough for my liking in various spots of meat pie. Then the meal comes out after waiting 40 mins. The meal initially looks attractive. I’m notice immediately no plaintains. I’m given a side of raw onions and cucumbers instead. I tell the server who was different from the man that initially took my order. She tells me they are out of plaintains. I tell her I drove 25 mins to get fish and plaintains, and that I wanted something sweet to compliment the spicy. She tells me they have nothing sweet and they are out of plaintains. I asked why wasn’t I informed of this when my order was taken, she says maybe they weren’t out then. I tell them at least give me the option to decide on a side. I ask for fufu. Never comes out, then after another 20 mins I ask a cook to bring some out. It comes out. The sauce was not spicy had to request more spice, the fish had no seasoning, (no salt shakers at table )while the samosas were almost overly seasoned. The rice was plastic like in texture with little taste. I had to stop eating the rice because something tells me this isn’t real rice. There is a difference between firm rice and plastic non bending rice. My partner ordered shrimp and chicken jollof rice. His rice is the same. Then after returning home he spends the evening throwing up what he ate. Safe to say I will never return. Very disappointed.

Omg I ordered so many different kinds of dishes and let me tell you the meat pie and the shrimp and beef kababs are so delicious. Hands down to the owner Fannie who took my order and I didn’t even know that I was asking many questions about what food I was getting and I’m in love with African food ? had my tummy happy and dancing in my seat. Overall hands down I will be back. The server and was so nice also. Good food guys….
