Didn't have basic supplies (my spoon) .So I could eat my banana split. Had to run to family dollar for a spoon.

These were a perfect last minute pickup. I ordered them a few hours before a party. I got a mixed dozen and added 2 gluten free cupcakes at pickup. They also had vegan options. A few we had were a little dry, but I would buy them again. I ordered online, very convenient.

I took my niece here for her birthday. We just ordered cupcakes to go, but the lady who helped us (I assume was the owner), was super sweet. Her cupcakes were very attractive in display & just as yummy in taste! The cupcakery was very boutique-ish...& I loved it! Very pleasant & I would recommend it to anyone who has a sweet tooth!

Best cupcake! Cake texture, frosting texture is great. Both cake and frosting sweetness perfect, not just over the top sugary. Thank you Cupcakes Unlimited for going above and beyond to encourage/reward vaccinations.

My wife and I were traveling to a funeral 2 hours south of KC, as we were approaching KC, we get a call that the bakery order for the funeral was cancelled. At 2pm on a Friday afternoon, that is a problem. We scrambled to find an open bakery and just as we hit I-435, my wife reached Cupcakes Unlimited. Great news, as it was the next exit. We proceeded to the store, they required masks in the store, as well as shoes and shirts. The cupcake selection was great and we ordered 6 dozen. As I was coming back from the bathroom, I noticed something, as mentioned before, masks, shoes and shirts are required, but pants apparently are not, as the girl at the counter was bending over getting the cupcakes, her very short onesie left little to the imagination. That being said, the cupcakes were a huge hit and the story gave everyone a good laugh. We assume that Tammy had a good laugh too looking down on us, as this was probably her doing :) I would highly recommend going back as the service was great and the cupcakes delicious.

This cupcake shop is in a strip mall, so there's plenty of parking. My daughter wanted cupcakes for her birthday dinner. I was able to get an assortment of cupcakes; they had a very large selection. I got the lemon cream cheese cupcake; it was very moist and had a good lemon flavor. My husband had the red velvet. Both cupcakes were absolutely delicious! Everyone was stuffed from dinner so they took their cupcakes to go but I'm sure everyone loved them based on ours. The cupcakes were $18 for a 6-pack. That's a little pricey but gourmet cupcakes are usually a little pricey. They're a big step up from what you find at the grocery store. For a special occasion, I'll definitely be back. I may sneak back and score a couple for me and the hubby for a treat.

I stumbled upon it while going to lunch at Mud Bugs on a business trip to KC. First of all, you walk into the store and it SMELLS SOOO GOOD!! It makes you instantly want to try everything! Then you look at the many flavors they have, and you can't even decide. I went with the owner's recommendation first, and had myself a key lime cupcake, it was excellent! The flavor was great, and the icing was not super sweet. Of course, I went back and got myself a SIX PACK to FLY home! Overall, the cupcakes were moist, and the frosting is yummy. I can't remember all the flavors I tried, I do remember the key lime was amazing, I wish I lived closer. I'll be back the next time I visit!!

Went in because the grown daughter wanted a cupcake for her birthday- wound up getting her 2- and one each for my husband and me! So many choices-many of which are inspired flavors! I had the Chocolate Cherry: a moist, distinctive cherry cake topped with chocolate fudge-y pirouette of icing! Husband got Birthday Cake: a whimsical, moist white cake topped with that luscious vanilla frosting and just the right amount of colored sprinkles. The Birthday Girl got both a Peanut Butter Fudge cupcake and the Strawberry Cupcake. There was a 'Wow' moment when she said the icing on the Peanut Butter Cupcake tasted just like fluffy peanut butter and not merely 'peanut butter flavor'! The Strawberry was saved for later. We have had the cupcakes before and found them to be moist and authentic in flavor: chocolate is decently chocolatey, vanilla, lemon, etc., all taste like your brain wants them to taste. The owner has added in Polly's Pop and Belfonte ice cream at comfortable price points. Shakes, ice cream sodas cookies and brownies are available. With the tons of parking right by the store and plenty of seating inside, this should be your go-to with the family for a Summer afternoon treat.

First off the cupcakes are delicious. My wife and I decided to come here for an anniversary dessert and the product didn't disappoint. The customer service on the other hand was the worst I've encountered in a long time. Two very young looking girls were behind the counter and when we said this was a our first time here neither of them offered us any sort of recommendation. "They're all good" is what we got. They were both hovering as we were trying to decide which made us both tremendously uncomfortable. It was like they just wanted us to hurry up and get out of their hair and when I was noticeably unfamiliar with their point of sale machine I again got nothing. I was just left looking like an idiot until I figured it out myself. We'll probably give it another chance down the line but if our experience is anything similar it'll be our last trip here. There's too many options out there to deal with bad customer service.

Wanted to upgrade my review to 5 stars, been going here every week for the past couple months and now get 6 cupcakes every time, when doing so they discount them to 15 dollars for 6, and believe me their cupcakes can't be beat, try them, you'll love them

red velvet cupcake was amazing! the frosting and the bread balanced each other out perfectly, really good 10/10. Although, the salted caramel cupcake was awful. the cupcake itself tastes like uncooked-boxed-cake batter, the frosting was fine, but the peanuts tasted like they were seasoned for savory purposes only and not intended to be on top of cupcakes. The first bite was not great but tolerable, as i took other bites it was progressively tasting worse. It got to a point where the cupcake made me sick to my stomach and i had to wash it down with lots of water in order to settle things down. but the red velvet was still good tho...

What a great place! So many cupcakes! I asked Jackie at the front which one is the best. She said to try the chocolate chip cookie dough. I saved it for an after dinner dessert. One bite in it felt like cupcake heaven. Yummy! The icing was perfect and perfectly spread. The cake part took me back to the days of stealing dough off the kitchen counter while my mom walked away. Highly recommend! Jackie was super nice and the product was on point. I will be back!

I'm so glad I found this place almost hidden away in a strip mall. They had a great variety of flavors and the ones I tried were all tasty. I liked that the cupcakes weren't supersized, either, they were more normally proportioned. At $2 per cupcake I did feel like they were at the top end of what I'd be willing to pay for a cupcake, but then again, I don't know the cupcake market in KC very well so I have no idea what is an average cost. The place was clean and the gal working behind the counter super friendly and helpful. It would definitely be worth a return trip.
