I am so profoundly sad that this place didnt survive Covid. My husband and I spent many a date night here. I especially mourn the loss of their cream cheese and chive pretzel dip.

The food and drinks are all good/fine, but the service is always terrible. The waitstaff is always so slow to approach you and bring you new drinks. The happy hour deals are just ok. It is usually just one particular drink that is on sale (for $4).

Auburn had just beaten Kentucky in the Midwest Regional to go on the Final Four and we met up with some friends from long ago and another couple who recently started attended the KC Alumni Club's watch parties! Great times! Headed to the Flying Saucer after the game and unwound. Pretzels and Goat Cheese Salads all around.

Good salads. The 2 free pretzels coupon from yelp for checking in was awesome. Would come back when in town.

Tons of beers on tap. Great food. Wish they'd bring back their bread bowl of beer cheese soup.

Ran out of my favorite drink (Crown Royal) after one drink. Then the bartender was rude. All the employees were gathered in one corner and getting attention was impossible. Brie was the only employee who seemed to care about the customer

This is a beer lovers mecca! A constantly changing beer menu affords the seasoned beer enthusiast a chance to try several new brews. While their food menu is simple, it never fails to disappoint. There's a parking garage one business over; be sure to get your parking validated!

Large selection of craft beer drafts. Happy hour runs all day on Monday with $4 drafts. 4-7pm on Tues-Fri. Hard to beat the beer prices.

Great place with good and lots of different beers. Also great food and service. Can recommend the Saucer Pie's.
If you like beer, this is the bar you want to visit! They had so many different options. The atmosphere is fun & alive! I came here for the first time on the day of the CHIEFS SUPER BOWL PARADE! I figured it would be super packed, but it actually wasn't too bad. I checked my Yelp app to see what food was recommended by other Yelpers & noticed that there was a coupon for 2 free soft pretzels if you checked in. Heck yeah! We ordered those with the side of cheese and their spicy mustard. Holy cow, I can take some heat but their spicy mustard makes your eyes water. It was still SO good. The prices of the drinks are a little high but its what I expected from a Power & Light Bar. Service was good & drinks were strong. We can wait to come back!

I make an effort to visit Flying Saucer every time I am in Kansas City. They have good food, but are most famous for the incredible selection of beers on tap. I don't come often enough to participate in the UFO club, but it is a fun idea and it's neat to see all of the plates people have earned over the years. The Power and Light location is also great - easy to get to with nearby (paid) parking or just a few blocks from the free light rail.

This place is my own little heaven on Earth. My husbands and my favorite date night. The atmosphere is so welcoming! Every time we come in, we sit where we want to, the staff is so friendly, they make you feel like family. We always try a different beer when we go (Duh!), and the food has never disappointed... ever! I always invite out of town friends and family to come here with me to try it. I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone :)
