Stayed twice within a month's time. We like Embassy Suites and its fairly close to Worlds of Fun, where we are annual passholders. But compared it other Embassy Suites, it doesn't measure up. It's not bad, but if you have stayed at other ES, you will be disappointed there is no restaurant, and the breakfast feels a little smaller. The kicker that made sure we won't be back again was the second time we stayed, they charged us for parking in their parking lot that was at least 50% blocked off for resurfacing. The fee was not disclosed to us when we booked or when we checked in. Also, it was not charged during our first stay a month earlier. When I called to inquire about the fee, I got a somewhat rude, uncaring customer service rep who simply said "did you park there? Then it costs $10 a night". Well, I hope that $20 was worth ensuring I never stay there again. And we stay in KC at least 20 nights a year...

I had a less than desirable stay. Snack shop food outdated and moldy. Paid cash up front then charged on Card. Spoke with GM promised I had money coming back and have yet to see it. It's been 6 weeks.The lady at the front desk acted flustered and didn't seem to recognize me as a customer. From check in to problems in snack shop and on check out she acted like I was an inconvenience to her.

Melissa was awesome checking us in last night. She went above and beyond. Thank you, Melissa! Nice snacks for HH members. Great location near airport. Shuttle to airport. Quiet. Nice rooms. Fantastic cooked breakfast or grab quickly from the buffet.

Nice location about 6 mins from KCI airport. The hotel is in a great location it’s not to busy and parking is not a headache. Nice bar area prices at the bar are kind of expensive, I paid ten dollars for one IPA seven dollar charge plus tip. Wow. Needless to say I only drink one prior to bedtime. Friendly atmosphere so would recommend more TV by the bar area. Overall great place to stay.

Amber at the bar was amazing top notch service from drinks to food.Parking: 20Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the order area and seating available as well. The ramps however are not at the greatest locations kd you need to use the bathroom from the eating area.

Entering the hotel room the smell was terrible. The carpet was disgusting. The pull out sofa had trash all under it and no bed linens in the room. The bathroom shower had drainage issues. If you are expecting an Embassy Suites experience…you will not find it here. Major renovations are needed here.

My family and I attended a 3 day event here. No on-site restaurant as advertised. It was a bar that had expensive, barely there alcohol drinks and a few food items you could order. That wasn’t even open that long. Pool was dirty on the bottom. The buffet breakfast was good for the most part, except for the soured milk they put out. Not a very good hotel to be a Hilton. Hopefully the event will be at a different hotel next year.
This hotel is dreadful. The lobby is the only thing that is somewhat nice. The rooms are BEYOND old, smelly, dreary. Furniture and furnishings, including beds, are so very dated. I was appalled. We will never stay here again.

Food was very greasy and didn't taste good. The burger was ordered medium and was raw. The fish and chips were dripping in grease and squishy. The hotel is amazing just not their food!

This hotel is beyond tired. It needed renovation 10 years ago! Stay here if you like the smell of chlorine and you love bad 70s decor. You could stay at a Hampton Inn and have a much better experience for way less $$.

I was disappointed to say the least. This hotel needs a THOROUGH deep cleaning... you can see the dirt on the air vents everywhere The beds are shot... the pillows felt like balled up cotton balls stuffed in a sack. The pull out was the equivalent of a hammock with springs. The ceiling in our room was missing chunks of wall mud. Almost every outlet was loose and seemed unsafe to plug into. The parking lot was a pothole paradise... I should have rented a jeep not a sedan at the airport. The employees were polite but they also seemed wiped out... They had that just keep going it will be over soon vibe going. The morning breakfast crew was SUPER attentive and on top of everything which was excellent to see. Hilton corporate office should consider a complete overhaul especially for the prices that are being charged. I would not stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago, and had a good experience so decided to stay here again with my family. It has gone way downhill! Incredibly outdated and dirty. Definitely not up to par with any other Embassy Suites locations I have stayed in. The shower had visible mold on the ceiling, and needed to be re-grouted as the grout around the bottom was full of nasty looking gunk. Not sure why they think a tiled shower is a good idea in a hotel if they aren’t going to properly maintain it. The mirror, lamp, and office chair in our room were super dirty as well. The sofa bed was very difficult to get out. The breakfast was also very disappointing in comparison to other Embassy locations. Save your time and money and book elsewhere! Looks like there were many other options in the area.
