Nice comfortable quiet hotel. Great breakfast. Housekeeping was great. Friendly front desk. We were here for Royals games and the only complaint was crossing the road to get to stadium.Rooms: Rooms were nice and quiet.Nearby activities: Royals stadium

We paid $641.90 for our room. The hotel had no power, the elevators didn't work and it was pitch black and freezing in our room and probably 10 degrees or less in the lobby. We couldn't shower, get ready, relax, couldn't use the elevators, sleep etc. I didn't want a full refund, I just didn't think $641.90 was justified while sitting in the pitch dark and having no heat when it was -35 outside. The room was soooooo cold! Even when the power did come back on 6 hours later the room was unbareable and the draft through the balcony doors felt like 20 mph winds while the room was still below freezing. No, it's not the hotels fault but as the hotel Manager maybe charging $350.00 for sitting the dark and freezing would be a better respresentation for your hotel than the $641.90 that we paid. Well, Tom the manager was disgusted at that gesture, he did not represent the hotel well at all and he should 100% NOT be hospitality.

The closest hotel to Arrowhead just dont expect Best Western value as their prices are comisserate with the location, but this is to be completely expected. Their rooms are always respectable with a very good breakfast buffet.

This place was amazing for a Chiefs game. Walking distance for the chiefs or royals. The staff was so sweet and friendly. Tony at the front desk dealt with all my needs. As did all the staff. The restaurant and bar staff was so great. It felt very much like home, traveling from San Antonio TX. I would definitely stay again. Get the rooms with the views!

Overall our stay the the Best Western Sports Complex in Kansas City MO, was pleasant and quiet. The hotel staff are simply amazing. Upon checking in we had a minor issue with our room and the staff quickly moved us without a question. The included breakfast was the best we have had in years. The staff was friendly, kind, and we even had a few cordial conversations. The kind front desk attendant even offered to watch our small dog for a few minutes while we had breakfast so she was not barking in the room (that is beyond service and shows that Best Western hires staff that display kindness and understanding to their patrons). She was so kind and helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious. The dining had been recently renovations completed and it was a nice open area to sit and eat. I would stay here again simply for breakfast and kind hotel staff.

Front desk guy was cool. Have to press the inside latch twice so the door closes to the room. Public bathroom Out of Order. Elevator Out of Order. Balcony door is Sealed shut. Smoke area is unkept. Toilet is Loud. Shower stopped up. Dogs running loose in breakfast area. Nasty breakfast. Juke Box is old and outdated and expensive. Cook in grill is lazy or don’t know how to cook. My preferred beer was out of stock. Mozzarella sticks nasty. We tried. This place is janky and overpriced. You gotta do better.Nearby activities: Location is excellent. The hotel, itself needs work. Especially for the prices. This should be at least a 3-4 star experience. It’s a 1 star hotel, easy.Walkability: Taco Bell, Overpriced BP, and Arrowhead are walking distance. Walmart is a 5 minute drive.

The management here is focused on making everything about your stay magnificent. Service is smiling excellent. Breakfast is 5 star hotel great. Breakfast hostesses are banquet trained professionals who know they are great and are proud to be your hosts. This buffet has everything you need and more. Breakfast is presented in convention banquet style. I am not being paid.
