Hostess very unfriendly upon arrival.Waiter was very friendly and provided good service. His knowledge about the food was not very good. His kindness made up for it.Charcuterie was not what I expected. Would not order again.Porkchop and greens were superb!!!!!When we were done and called for uber, we asked hostess for address to confirm we had the right address. She had no clue what address was. She had to get business card and gave it to us and said address was on it. Hostess needs to know address of place she works at that pays her.We are from out of state and were trying it out because some friends will be flying in tomorrow.Kid-friendliness: This is more of an adult place. Not much on menu for kids

One of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City. The food is always incredible and the servers take the time to fully explain each dish. Highly recommend trying a few of the small dishes as they routinely change, you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Definitely one of the premier restaurants in Kansas City. Amazing attention to detail in flavor profiles. Outstanding bar service. And one of the sexiest aesthetic vibes in recent memory. Come with a big appetite, you may even wanna skip lunch if you're coming for dinner.

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, tasty food, and amazing drinks! I just wish their menu was slightly bigger!I’ve been here twice now. The pork chop was probably the best pork chop I’ve ever had, and I was disappointed that they didn’t have it on the menu the next time. The pork loin and sausage combo was good, but the pork wasn’t as flavorful and a bit dry. Sausage was great and potatoes were perfect. The pork chop came with collard greens (I think?) that were slightly tangy and very addicting. I missed that in the other dish.I also had the hangar steak with fries. It was perfectly cooked but not well seasoned, a bit understated and I’m not sure any other flavor was added, since I didn’t pick up on it.Their pickles are phenomenal, the rillette is fantastic, and their duck meatballs are always a hit.Like I said, great food, I just wish there were a few more options on the mains and some of the staples available. If I could eat that pork chop dish every time I came here, I’d be a happy camper.

We went for our 17th anniversary dinner a couple weeks ago. My wife's steak was good, but my pork chop was completely raw in the middle. It was hard to tell how raw it was at first because it was so dark in the restaurant. They re-fired it and it was OK but we won't be back.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary, and I wish I had gone somewhere else. We ordered the duck meatballs for $18 and got three small meatballs, meaning we each got about two bites of food. I saw someone else get an order of the wings after this and they looked huge, so I guess we chose poorly. I ordered the butternut ravioli, and while it tasted fine, it belongs on the small plates menu, not the entree. My husband did enjoy the duck, but it was pretty small too. I was still hungry at the end, but felt too cheated feeling to risk ordering anything else. I ended up getting a burger elsewhere afterwards. The experience was a major disappointment on what was supposed to be a special night. The service and atmosphere were nice, but I am not coming back because of the meager and overpriced food.
