Family was looking for a place to eat while visiting KC, unique place for us. Menu was limited due to St. Patrick's day which was unfortunate because the pics online looked really good. That being said the food was really good. Even better though was the staff, very friendly and attentive, had 4 or 5 different employees ask how the food was and make sure we didn't need anything.

A friend and I went last night. The pizza was amazing. I am eating the leftovers after putting it in my air fryer. Omg. Its so yummy! And all of the staff was great but Grace was the only name I remembered. She was so sweet! I will be back for more pizza!

Always a great stop for happy hour. Also $10 Pizza Fridays are awesome. They seem to have events almost every day, sometimes multiple events per day(weekends).I've been there during trivia one night, even though I wasn't playing I had a blast. The emcee's for trivia are awesome at keeping everyone pumped.

I love going to Gael's. The service is always extremely helpful, attentive, and makes it a fun experience. Which is hard to find alot of the time. It's a good half way point for my friends and I and we love to watch sports here. Plus they have some really good daily specials and fun seasonal drinks!

Professional and prompt waitstaff and a decent steak. However, someone needs to do the bartender a favor and teach them how to make an old fashioned. The few we ordered actually got progressively worse as the dominate flavor was bitters. If anyone wants to save their money and make their own, it's pretty simple:- One sugar cube (or one bar spoon of simple syrup)- Two dashes Angostura bitters- Two ounces rye or bourbon- Orange twistMuddle the sugar and bitters in the bottom of a glass with one bar spoon of water. If using simple syrup, combine bitters and one bar spoon of simple syrup. Add rye or bourbon and stir. Then add one large ice cube or a few smaller cubes in a rocks glass and stir until chilled, about 30 seconds. Express a freshly peeled orange peel over the top of the cocktail and place it on the edge of the ice.

Wonderful laid back and inclusive vibe. The owners and staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are having a great time and staying fed/hydrated. Perfect place to take a group for a show or casual night of drinks. For other 30+ year olds, great parking and a reasonable volume for music.

Gaels Public House, located off of Troost Ave, is a popular bar & grill in the Kansas City area. This spot is particularly popular during their scheduled events and specifically happy hour. Gaels Public House has daily specials such as $9 Burger Mondays, All Day Happy Hour on Wednesdays, and $10 Specialty Pizza Thursdays. You can even check their events page online to see the scheduled trivia nights, karaoke nights, and Sunday brunch drag shows. There are some tables inside with a few of the stage, along with bar stools and several tables outside on the cozy patio. Two of my favorite items to order for table off of the menu are the poutine fries and the nachos. Gaels also serves tasty pizza, stacked burgers, fresh salads, crispy chicken tenders, mouthwatering tacos, and more! If you are looking for a brunch and drag show day, this is the place to visit! Food was good, mimosas were great, staff was energetic! Bummed they don't do Scotch Eggs anymore since there's so many positive reviews about them. We specifically came for them. Otherwise, the food we did have was good!

This evening was so fantastic with friends other than our server. We enjoyed the karaoke dj so much and honestly the food was very good. I had not been here since it was previously a different bar and the improvement was amazing. We were there for a few hours singing and dancing. As the night went on we had closed our tabs but my husband and friend had decided to order more drinks because we wanted to keep singing karaoke. When our friend went to the bar to order a drink, the server told him he was cut off due to tipping 10% on his previous tab. Our friend was baffled because this was clearly a mistake. He would have certainly corrected the issue on the additional tab had he been allowed to open another tab, but because he tipped “below industry standard” he could no longer be served. My husband and I had tipped 40$ on a 115$ tab which was over 20% and we were allowed to continue to order drinks. However, due to the way the bar tender treated our friend we decided not to continue to give our money to this place or employee. As someone who has been in a server, there are certainly much worse things that can happen in this industry than a 10% tip. Because of the way he reacted to what was an honest mistake we will never return.I have never experienced a bar or restaurant operate this way and I am still so surprised. As a server you can’t let your feelings to control your reactions. This bar just lost 7 people’s business due to the way our one friend was treated.
