Hubby and I always recommend Jack Stacks, Martin City to out of town folks. Was the first BBQ place we ate at when we moved to the area 13 years ago. "Want the best food go there, try the cheesey corn!" My hubby sent a visiting business associate there last night. He was seated at a table and that's where it stopped. Waiter served two other tables arriving after him, still nothing. After 20 MINUTES he got up and left.

Next time you're in Kansas City, go to Jack Stack BBQ and order the Crown Prime Beef Rib. If you don't, I will fight you!!! One of the most delicious meals I've ever had! (Coleslaw & hickory baked beans were my sides.) Only disappointment was not having my family to enjoy it with me.

Was in Sunday. Absolutely awful, dry, cooked days prior, flavorless food. I felt obligated to choke down some of it because I was with a group of people and didn’t want to be a problem. Ketchup and randoms on the table but no bbq sauce. What sense does that make?! Fries were the only good thing yet no bbq sauce to dip in. Waiter was pushy, rude, could barely hear him when he spoke, and didn’t give us separate checks as requested. Would NEVER recommend.

Not only it's in dining wonderful and the meat and smells so delicious but even when you have it ordered through like doordash it comes hot and I highly recommend their loaded baked potato with shredded pork it is my favorite thing
Martin City is the best location for Jack Stack!! Staff is friendly, atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and I swear the food is better.

Out server was absolutely incredible on the recommends. I got the pick three with brisket , pork ribs and pork burnt ends with sides of corn special and the meaty baked beans , my friend got the pick 2 with brisket and pulled pork , potato salad and the meaty beans , we got shots of crown , and I got the cider angry orchard which was crisp and paired well with the flavor of everything.Hands down from a Texas native , this place is an upscale , and quality BBQ experience , my hats off to the pitmaster and the staff who were friendly and accommodating. Smelled like good blue smoke as you walk in and the atmosphere was perfect. Don't change a thing just keep the GM from interacting with customers because it may cause a distaste for the place ????. Keep up the great work you all deserve a raise for the excellent quality and service you bring to the business!!!!!!!
