Bill and Debbie are the worst company owners ever. They treat all their employees like trash literally. Talks bad on them in front of everyone including the person he's talking about. Never sits you aside just puts you on blast. The vans are run down and patched up. He purposely gets them tagged with Kansas tags cause Kansas doesn't need inspections to get a vehicle tagged. No matter what the temperature is there's no AC in the vans. So when it was 103 but felt like 108 outside. It felt like 110-115 degrees in that van. You don't get any days off or else he yells at you in front of everyone. Sometimes when you restock on ice cream he gives you open boxes with open popsicles/ice cream and expects you to sell those to families. I'm sure if you ask ANY ONE working for this company that will validate everything and possibly tell you more. I only worked there for about 3 months. And it was hell but i needed the money to pay bills and he legit will hire anyone with a drivers license.

I worked for them for a month and a half the van's they put you in need worked on they are junk they fix them lo g enough to get you out of the parking lot only to break down on the side of a busy highway even though you told them that morning Van isn't running right they didn't do anything about it and sure enough my Van broke down on the side of the highway waiting on tow truck and they act like it's your fault . They only give you $15.00 a day for gas and that's enough gas for a couple of neigh or hoods and when your gas goes low you have to pay for more gas out of your pocket you have to yuse the money you made selling their Ice cream that you have to buy plus when you sell it the next day turn your money in and you only get 30% of what you sell they get 70 % and don't for get out of your 30% your 30% you have to buy gas

It maybe good for the customers but for the workers it's not, bill has made racial slurs close to my ear so Noone else could hear, I came on to do order checking and inventory, and was blackmailed into be a everyday delivery driver, driving a box truck for which my DOT is expired and none of them have seat belt, some of the drivers don't even have a license, bill talk bad to all his employees and threatens to fire them if they don't wanna work outside there job descriptions, the workers are often paid very little, have to do all night events on a whim, and he takes money out of the employees check for if we make a mistake

I drove for this company, they do not have permits for the city the van is driving. If u a driver u get treated like crazy . I was fired because I had to lay my mom to rest so I didn't drive for 2 days.

Indeed The Kansas City Ice Cream Company have been serving our community for a couple of centuries now so that work ethic in itself so speak all that needs to be said and it is a family owned business
Had a last minute idea to have an ice cream truck come to preschool graduation. Called them a week before graduation and they were able to add us to the schedule. Great to work with, fast responses to my questions, and a sweet driver Harold who took care of us! We will most definitely use them again!!!

We needed an ice cream truck for our event and this one was the perfect choice. They showed up promptly and professional. The prices were excellent and lots of choices. It was a big hit. I will definitely use this company for more upcoming events. A definite must try.
