When I went here when Kari's first opened I was pretty disappointed, but I'm glad I gave them time to start their new business and another try a year later! This time the chicken shawarma was delicious, the baba ganoush was delicate and packed with flavor, their lentil soup was beautifully spiced. The pita was soft, with olive oil and zaatar, and the falafel was pretty good too. The atmosphere was great and the service was lovely! Make sure to try their special lemonades!Currently the best middle eastern on W39th!Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwich, lentil soup, baba ganoush, dolma, hummus, pita and more

I didn’t get a great picture because the food was 1/2 gone before I got around to thinking about doing a review. Lol. It was amazing. Food was fresh and homemade!! The falafel was the best I’ve ever had. Hands down. Lentil soup was amazing. Hummus and Baba were great. The service was excellent. They also offer a selection of fresh squeezed juices, and freshly made juice drinks. I had the mint lemonade - it was obvious that she squeezed the lemons and blended it with fresh mint, water, ice and sugar. Delicious. One of those meals where you walk away feeling full, satisfied but GOOD. Even the pita - was served hot - fresh grilled, with a seasoning on top. Yum!!

To switch it up, I ordered Kari’s on DoorDash this evening. The mint lemonade is quite possibly the most delicious drink I’ve ever had the privilege of imbibing in. I would return solely for this reason. The food was also fantastic! Highly recommend! I plan on bringing my best friend after church sometime in the near future. Keep up the great work!

Kari’s is sooooo yummy! The food is cooked fresh and is well worth it! It’s takes a bit longer sometimes but you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!!! The same dishes here are different level compared to others we’ve had!!!
We were SO excited to try Kari’s after hearing so many great things. We ordered takeout yesterday as a special treat. I paid just over $70 for our order. We ordered ahead of time for 8:15 PM pick up. I got a call at 7:39 PM from a gentleman at Kari’s who told me our order was ready. I told him that we were not ready to pick it up yet and that I had placed the order for 8:15 pm. He responded by saying “Well, it’s almost 8…” and didn’t say anything else. The conversation was short and slightly hostile. When 8:15 rolled around, my boyfriend arrived at Kari’s to pick up our scheduled order. They did not remake the food, nor offer any sort of remedy or even an apology. I live not 4 minutes away from Kari’s and when we got home and opened our meals at 8:20, the food was cold. Not warm or even lukewarm, it was cold. This was SO disappointing. We had to deconstruct the gyro and eat it out of a bowl because the pita or tortilla (couldn’t even tell at this point) was mush. The kabob had great flavor, but the texture was like a dense sponge because, again, it was cold. The grilled veggies were unpleasant to eat because they were frigid. We could tell by the flavors that it would have been an excellent meal had it not been sitting for 35+ minutes. It felt really unfair that they were happy to take my money, but did not give us the same service that everyone else seems to have received. If they could not fulfill the order because they were trying to close early, they should have called and let me know and offered a refund instead of making the food way in advance and then being rude when we couldn’t pick it up until the time we had ordered it for.

Fantastic gyro wraps. Truly perfection. Great service and friendly staff. We had the lamb gyros and the warp was perfectly crispy, thin, yet fluffy and cooked perfectly. Will be back.

The food was amazing and so flavorful! We had the Baba Ghanoush with pita for an appetizer. For the main courses we had the Mixed Grill Plate and the Shish Tawook Plate. It all took a little longer because it is made fresh but it was worth the wait! Friendly staff and great food! 10/10 recommend.
