The food is good. I wouldn't say anything special but if you're looking for a quick bite of sushi without having to sit down c be waited on, etc. it's the place to go. Environment is less than exciting. One TV in a silent room playing a basketball game. Unfortunately the first table we sat at was super dirty. It didn't get cleaned while we were there. Decent food but nothing special about this spot besides it being okay for a quick bite

I've always been one to try new restaurants and this was one on my list. When I saw it had less than 4 stars I wasn't sure so I had to see for myself. When we walked in, it was super quiet... they could definitely use some music or something. Then you should know you order at the counter. They don't have menues besides what is online or what they have on the wall behind the counter. Think of it like a sushi cafe - order at the counter and they bring it to you. But it's self serve drinks including alcohol. We ordered edamame, and 4 rolls (Philly, Kokoro Maki Roll, Spider, Sunday Morning). The food was just fine. When I think about the rolls, they had good flavor but they weren't well rolled so they broke apart when you picked them up, especially the Spider Roll. They were cut super thin and were extremely flimsy. I wouldn't say don't go there because it's good to support a local business but go knowing this isn't going to be the top of the line sushi restaurant. The staff was very nice and appreciate of our business.

Our experience here wasn’t great from the start. When we walked in, the place was empty. Which is fine, but there was also nobody there to greet us whatsoever. Not to tell us hello. Not to tell us where to sit. Not to tell us to get lost. Nothing. After about five minutes someone came around from the kitchen and said “you want to eat ?” Lol.Anyways, moving forward we order appetizers which were the dumplings and spring rolls. And we both got a bowl of Ramen.Appetizers were fine. No complaints there. Pretty sure they were just frozen little joints, deep fried, but either way they were good. When the Ramen came out, just by looking at it, you can tell it was bag Ramen. And honestly, I don’t have a problem with bag Ramen. I eat that stuff at home. From the low scale cheap bag Ramen, all the way to the expensive high scale bag Ramen. I’m into it. That being said, had I known that that was what we were being served for $11-$12 a bowl, I would’ve just stayed home.Just saying. Shouldn’t try to pass it off as “restaurant” Ramen. People who eat bag Ramen at home are going to know that this ain’t the real deal immediately. My girlfriend, and I never really felt welcome there. Felt like we were in the way of business, even tho they were empty.. and every time we needed something you could see long eyelids and eyeballs rolling. Either way. We won’t be back. Bless up!

It's a very peaceful and chill sushi house. The seating is unique as well as the atmosphere, and the service personnel are always patient and accommodating. The food is always delicious, I usually go for the Sunday morning specialty sushi, but I recently ordered the bulgogi, and it was so yummy!10/10??

Very very good. Visited about a week ago and will return when in the area. Traditional Japanese cuisine and very fresh with a lot of flavor. Had a Bul go gi box with marinaded beef. Sushi freshly made. Service excellent.

I had high expectations because of the reviews but this restaurant left a lot to be desired. I ordered yellowtail and salmon nigiri and an eel roll. The fish on the nigiri was so thinly sliced and looked old. The eel roll was good although it had a lot more cucumber than eel in it. I also wasn’t expecting to serve myself.

Affordable sushi with a nice atmosphere! Their miso soup was light and tasty. I highly recommend the Veggie Fantasy roll: soy paper with cucumber, avocado, lettuce, carrot, and a few more veggies, topped with spicy chili sauce. A completely vegan and gluten free meal for just under $10. I also weirdly love their wooden chairs!

We come here a lot ever since moving to Waldo - takeout and dine in are both very consistent in quality. We’ve tried something different every time we go! Can’t go wrong with any of the sushi (nice, simple rolls with a lot of vegetarian options too) and the bento boxes are HUGE. We like the bulgogi and chicken teriyaki best. They’re a strong contender for the best crab rangoon in town and having a scoop of green tea ice cream or mochi after the meal rounds it out nicely! A great local experience.
