Lonnie is a great musician with great energy. The show was fun and I really enjoy Lonnie's knowledge and love for the Kansas City Jazz seen. If you have the time to do so I would recommend this dinner and show to anyone.

The atmosphere and vibe is perfect. Classic prohibition era speakeasy. Stepping off the elevator feels like stepping back in time to a long ago era in Kansas City. Lonnie is a classic showman, larger than life. His band is some of the best talent I've had the pleasure to hear. The service and staff are very attentive without being invasive. All in all, a great place to celebrate an occasion, even if that occasion is simply “Welcome to the Weekend!”. ;)

Lonnie's Reno Club serves up fantastic jazz with great food and a positive vibe. The staff is super friendly, and the food is top-notch. Trust me, you won't find an experience like this anywhere, and Lonnie's talent is unmatched. Definitely worth going – you won't be let down. We have been 4 times and will be back again soon. Every time is such a different experience. I really can't say enough great things about this show, it is my favorite and I have been to a lot of shows :)

This was our first time experiencing this show and weren't sure what to expect. The minute we entered we were impressed by the greeting and seating by the welcoming and energetic Josh. Armoni, our waitress, was equally as accommodating and gracious. Food and drink was top notch from start to finish as to be expected at such a venue and setting. The show presented by Lonnie and his band is what made this night so memorable. From the first introductions we knew we were in for a treat. The intimate setting is something unique in itself, and Lonnie made each attendee in the room feel like his personal guest. It's rare to enjoy a performer with his vast experience, talent and skill so up close and personal. We also appreciated the band members performances and especially how Lonnie described each of their accomplishments within their craft on a local, national and international level. Truly impressive for such a young group, kudos to Lonnie for recognizing and showcasing the next generation of jazz greats. Having the opportunity to meet and chat with Lonnie during intermission was the icing on the cake. We have never enjoyed this opportunity with any other performers we've seen. His warm personality and individual appreciation for the audience was truly remarkable. Inspiring, in fact, in a world with increasingly fewer personal interactions. HIGHLY recommend this experience to anyone, a one of a kind GEM which is unparalleled in KC (and far beyond)!
