Food and service outstanding! Largest drawback is cigarette smoking is allowed. I will never eat here again despite the food and service!

Very old town feel diner buy that's the charm. Not super commercialized. It's all in the name. Go and just be comforted!

I had small request to remove an item from my omelette that I needed to call in for a delivery order...The lady on the phone ( Trina ) took the call , was very professional and they made the change with no issue...Food arrived warm and as ordered...Can't wait to check out the place in person...Jimmy

The place was empty so we had decent service by default. Food was good but it sort of all came off as packaged items that are reheated. Not sure if that’s the case but it just sort of seemed that way. Felt like we were eating alot of reheated stuff. Like probably a big pot of instant mashed potatoes in the back (which I actually love), however, both my wife and mine’s potatoes seemed sort of cold. Everything was okay, nothing blew us away. We think my wife’s meat entree had gone bad before frying. I tried a bite of hers since she seemed to be picking at it and had to spit it out because it tasted like it had “turned”. We finished up with some apple crisp and ice cream for dessert and called it a night. I liked the small town feel of the interior decor but given the fact that her stomach was upset most the next day, probably won’t be returning.**We went for dinner service. Had a friend later recommend their breakfast being much better so maybe we’ll try that one day.**

Very friendly. If you go, take the door on the left so you don't have to walk thru smoking side of restaurant. Breakfast food was cheap but kind of bland.. I like more flavor to my food.. but seems there are a lot of regulars. Maybe dinner or lunch is better than breakfast.

I had a simple breakfast entailing a cheeseburger with egg and hash browns. It was good. I'd like to go back and explore other options on the menu; it's a big menu.

I was denied service at this restaurant because of my service animal. I have a service dog that is clearly identifiable as a service dog with vest and harness. I was asked by the server if I had a card that showed he was a registered service animal. When I responded that such identification is not required per federal law, she told me it was a “Clay county requirement” (I live out of state and was traveling) and that I could not eat inside the restaurant with my service animal if I did not have “some kind of proof” that he was a service animal. Asking for such identification is illegal under federal law. This is a violation of my civil rights under the ADA and I will be filing a complaint with the Department of Justice. BTW—I have found no such “Clay county regulation” and, according to federal law, no such regulation is permissible or legal at the state or local level.

Joined a group of friends for breakfast. Surprised to learn they still allowed smoking in the restaurant. The server was friendly and kept the coffee coming, but all of our food came out barely warm. There is a cute country store inside. The items on the menu are very reasonably priced.
