Waiting for my order for an hour. I ask the waitress about my order and she tells me: haven't they brought it to you yet? I think they forgot. ? Poor service and very bad customer service. One star seems like a very high rating for Mr Le's. Terrible restaurant. Can’t wait for an other hour.

I ordered sushi and rolls, they were not tasty. Moreover, after that I still felt bad for the whole day and had a stomach ache.

The place was a little awkward. No music or no noise. So everyone was whispering so that all of the tables couldn’t hear our conversation. It was so quiet in fact we heard one of the waitresses tell a table they should have just gotten up and gotten their own food because they are historically bad tippers.Awkward.The food was good! But the atmosphere and personalities of the wait staff was just not it.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is THE place to get sushi. The restaurant doesn't have the cookie cutter, sushi place vibe. It's more like going to a diner. But then you get the best damn sushi instead of eggs and hash browns.

Really good food at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and supportive of their customers.Got the General Tsao’s, beef lo mein, shrimp lo mein, vegetables with beef, Vietnamese pho #1, and two fried sushi.General Tsao’s is really good. Get it extra spicy, makes it just right rather than just being sweet chicken. Getting it spicy doesn’t make it intolerable for those that don’t love spice, my twin 9 year old granddaughters had no issue with the spice and throughly enjoyed the dish.Beef lo mein and shrimp lo mein are good dishes. The dishes do taste different aside from the protein, both tastes were enjoyed by my family. Lo mein dishes were more filling than the other dishes we got.Vegetables with beef was awesome. The cook on the vegetables was perfect, just the right texture as they still had body without being undercooked super crunchy things.Vietnamese Pho #1 was really tasty. I love getting the vegetables separate so I can add them when ready, it makes sure I can eat them when they’re perfect. Bringing the two seasonings to the tables with the dish let me spice it up as I wanted it. Really enjoyed this dish. The fried sushi was really good, no complaints. We did appreciate the entrees more than the sushi, on our second visit we just got entrees we wanted vice getting sushi a second time.Great restaurant to get good Chinese and Vietnamese dishes without breaking the bank, highly recommend.
It's just not what it used to be. The sushi is still great, but as other reviews have said, they will and do put their regular customers orders ahead of you. I didn't believe it until it actually happened to us. We had ordered sushi. Along with many others in the restaurant. We saw our order back there being made. A regular walked in, went to the bar, told the gentleman with glasses at the sushi counter his order. This man received his sushi before everyone else that had already ordered. Normally I'd chalk it up to "it was only a couple rolls" - but then we overheard the table behind us talking about it, so we joined their discussion. Turns out we're all long time Mr. Le fans, and we've all noticed the decline in service since Mr. Le left.I've seen where the restaurant states it's the same employees, but it is not the same employees as it was a few years ago. The man with glasses behind the sushi bar is rude and talks too much for customers being able to hear every word he says. And our server messed up our order, so we ended up getting free soups and salads because she couldn't remember what we ordered.Quick summary: food is still good, service and atmosphere have gone way downhill.

It saddens us to say we will no longer be customers. Mr. Le's has been a staple in the Northland and our favorite for as long as I can remember. We have had several mediocre experiences and thought maybe it was a fluke. Last, night was the last straw for us. My husband showed up 25 minutes before they closed and wanted two spicy crab salads to go. They refused and said, " no" we are closed! The hours are already down to a ridiculous minimum. The quality and atmosphere isn't the same.We wish they were under past ownership.

The food is good, good selections of sushi. Some sashimi and hot dishes. Would and probably will eat there again if I am in the area. The atmosphere is that of an old diner. About like a waffle house.
