These guys cook their food with love and you can tell this! Awesome and delicious jambalaya, plenty of seats in the dining area, very clean. The fried basa was breaded nicely and fried to perfection. Love it and will be back for more!

If you are looking for a taste of Cajun food, this is THE place! It may look a little unassuming from the outside, but the food inside is amazing! We had the blue crab po'boy and sea hog (bacon wrapped shrimp) po'boy, shared a bowl of seafood gumbo and side of okra.Everything was cooked to perfection!

Paying $3.15 for a glass of water is ridiculous. Never charged for water previously. Won't be back. If I was charged.75 for water why was total almost $19

Great family owned restaurant. Friendly, good food, nice portions. Worth trying if you have not yet.

Nice selection. Hours are limited, it's a bit pricey for lunch, and it's very far from me so not sure if I'll be returning. I will say it's worth a try as they have flavors I haven't found elsewhere.

The jambalaya was excellent, as was the okra. Service was prompt and friendly. It is a counter-service restaurant but a really good one.

I heard from several people how wonderful the food is here! Finally got up there to try it and OMG! Yes!!! Absolutely delicious!! My husband had the KC Po Boy and loved it! I ordered the gumbo, red beans & rice, and the jambalaya… all of it was amazing! We will definitely be back!

I love love love the food here. The spices and flavors that explode in your mouth keep you coming back for more. Best cajun flavors in the city.

The food is always delicious, but I'm never able to actually get any because their hours are so limited. They used to close at like 8:00 p.m. which was still early in my opinion, but now they're only open for 4 hours between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. I guess I just don't understand the point of even having a place if you're only going to be open 4 hours.
