First the services over the phone was rude unprofessional and the Food was the worst liver and onions beans and cabbage liver was so hard I couldn’t cut it the beans where under cooked I didn’t even bother with cabbage trash

One the best breakfast spots in KC! The pancakes were delicious, and my veggie omelet was stuffed and topped with melted American cheese. The atmosphere was friendly, and the staff were all welcoming. The family history of this place is awesome too!! Be sure to get here if you're ever in KC!!

Service was horrible. Multiple times didn’t bring us the 2 extra waters I asked for. Took about 15 minutes to even order a coke. 6 customers other than us and the waitress and staff just stood around talking. Got 1 refill on my coke, after I reminded her twice after she took my empty glass. Brought out half the tables food before the other half. Had to remind her we need roles and my boys lemonade still. She’s never asked what dressing I wanted on my salad. I had to ask her if there was a selection or just house dressing. Took forever to get the bill. They brought into us then later told us to pay up front. Couldn’t read any of the waitress scratch to see if was correct. The food was ok. Not much better than a grocery store deli. The mashed potatoes come with gravy that is texture of brown gravy. It kind of a yellow tan color. Bland potatoes and gravy and king of gummy texture.Overall, it took so long I would have left but was with my mother in law so we waited. Service was slow and horrible but they were nice. Food mediocre. I’ll never go back.

I absolutely love Niecie’s!!! The Chicken and waffles are my favorite!!!
Every time I go into a restaurant, I put in my headphones. I can't stand to hear the nonsense around me and the terrible music.... At niecies, that's not the case at all. The soul and disco playing were music to my ears. My waitress, Tajuana (sorry for the possible misspelling), was super nice and got my tasty breakfast to me quickly! Food was standard breakfast fare but I'm a vegetarian, so I know I was missing out. Anyway, stop there and support your local business! Thanks again!

Famous chicken and waffles was like a party in my mouth! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the waffles were fluffy and golden brown. Plus, the portion sizes were huge - I definitely left feeling satisfied. The service was friendly. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Niecie's!
