Walked in and wasn’t sure I even wanted to sit down. Sat at the bar for a min and decided I didn’t even want to attempt eating something from this location. I’ve heard so many good things about The Peanut (and I know there are lots of locations) but the smell from the bar and the dirty dishes stacked up on a sink had me saying NOPE.

Was a cool little dive bar, crowded on Friday night. Food and service was good. Cold beer and awesome drinks, come early if you wanna seat . Will return again.

The food was good, but customer service was mediocre ?.Also, you have to come in through some dingy backdoor, and it was weird!!The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, and there was a stench that lingered the whole time we were there.I don't think we'll be coming back any time soon!!!

REAL KANSAS CITY PLACE. This is a DIVE bar with incredible wings. NO you might not get 5 star table service, NO you might not be able to find a table because it is often packed, NO they probably won't meet your weird ass specific dietary restrictions. But the bartenders here are always nice, the ambiance is always incredible, and the wings are some of the best ANYWHERE. I'm from KC but live in Florida now, I'll make the 15 hour drive just for the peanut. Look at the sub 5 star reviews on here, you can tell they're all bullsh*t.
