We've been there three other times. We have had great experiences every time. The wait staff is very professional and attentive. The food is very good. This last time it was for our 44th anniversary.
We have only ONE complaint: We miss the piano.

We wanted to celebrate my daughter's special accomplishment. Our table had a beautiful view. All of the food was excellent. We loved the calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. Crab cakes, crab bisque, steak and pasta all excellent . Our server was excellent which isn't easy with 2 young children. Our special celebration was indeed special!

A lovely dining experienceThe steak medallions and tiger shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes were a delicious side. Our server was attentive, and the quiet, romantic atmosphere made for a perfect evening. Highly recommend for a special date night!

Me and my girlfriend went to eat here for my 21st birthday. We had been here once before and had An amazing experience all around. Unfortunately this time it was not as good of an experience. Our server Toni K was rude and gave the impression she was frustrated with being sat with a young couple. Not sure if she assumed since we were young we couldn’t afford to eat and tip her well, but during the middle of our meal she walked up and asked us if we wanted boxes to go and we were only 10 minutes into eating after the food came out. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all but the way she was trying to rush us off of her table would make you think it was a packed house. Besides the poor service, the food was phenomenal once again and will definitely be going back, but will be hoping for a little more respect. I understand young couples is probably uncommon there, but that doesn’t give our server the right to assume we won’t tip well and treat us like we are a waste of her time.

Tonight my wife and I decided on Piropos for my birthday dinner. It was fantastic. Together we had the Rib Eye steak, pan seared salmon and the empanadas, all of which were delicious. The service was fantastic(thank you Nancy & Jill!) With each course arriving perfectly timed.

We went to dinner at Piropos for my birthday. My husband ordered the seafood medley and I had the pan seared salmon, both dishes were excellent. The restaurant was busy and service was just ok. Our server checked on us after our meal was served to make sure everything was to our liking. After we finished eating, it felt like we waited quite a long time before she appeared with a birthday dessert!The birthday dessert was a nice surprise and it was good, but we would’ve liked to have been asked to see a dessert menu and offered coffee. We didn’t see her again until the check came.
Food was really tasty! Definitely gonna come back!

Birthday celebration for two family members. Sat us in a booth by the bar, and it was so noisy and loud we couldn't hear one another when we tried to talk. We had reservations weeks ahead of time, so it was not a last-minute thing where they just fit us in.

Amazing meal! Best steak we've had in KC after visiting several different so called 'best' steakhouses. Started meal with bread basket w/trio of sauces and empanadas. I had the 8oz. peppercorn encrusted filet w/brandy cream sauce, served with sauteed mushrooms & au gratin potatoes. Hubby had 14oz grilled ribeye served with asparagus and argentinean fries. Only low note may have been the fries..not crispy, but everything else incredible. Service was good, not the best we've had but it appeared they were down a server. No room left for dessert but can't wait to return and enjoy a couple drinks, dessert, ambiance & the views.

We really enjoyed Piropos. It was our first time there and our server was great. He was super helpful in his suggestions and very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious. My husband had the filet with mashed potatoes and green beans. The filet was cooked perfectly and the sides were tasty as well. I had the pan seared blackened mahi mahi with lobster risotto and red pepper sauce and it all was so flavorful. We finished up with dessert. Banana cake for me and chocolate torte for my husband. Again, both were so yummy. We have no complaints whatsoever and can't wait to dine there again.
