Just finished a 70th birthday party with 22 guests. Food was great! Stacy, our server was excellent. She kept our drinks and food supplied quickly, and was a joy to work with. I was very pleased how everything turned out.

Love this place! Home style food and excellent drinks/service
Had a late lunch and there was no wait. Very bright and clean. Wait staff was very prompt and friendly. I had the Ruben which was very good. My wife had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy and said it’s the best she’s had in KC. Which is saying a lot because she tries them everywhere we go.

I had the fried chicken a few years ago and it was very good. Last night I ordered it again and it was terrible! The chicken was rubbery. You couldn’t get a bite with breading because the chicken was so tough and rubbery. The skin was flabby and there was uncooked breading. The biscuit was doughy and soggy. The other sides were okay. With the discrepancy in all the reviews I suspect one of the cooks doesn’t know how to properly fry chicken. Whoever works Sunday evenings needs some training.

We got the fried chicken special. There was plenty of food! It was hot and tasty, but the chicken seemed average. It was not bad, just not great. The server was excellent and you get large portions of food. We had plenty to take home.

Lots of choices on their menu and I've never eaten anything. I didn't like just really good fun. Place to go relax. You can take a family and they put everything in the middle. It's it's a nice nice place
I ordered some food from this place on Doordarshan and I needed to add some stuff so I called up there and the guy who answered the phone was so nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place. Food was very good

The tenderloin dinner was very good. Bake potatoes are huge. Really good green beans and amazing biscuits.
Suddenly the are following the footsteps of a lot of our old Mainstay restaurants in town. The chicken is not as good as it used to be the potatoes were kind of watery and runny it's just not worth the money to eat here anymore. It really appeared my chicken had been sitting in the warmer and all of the crust had wore off he had a different kind of chicken that looked fresh cooked. I'd rather have gas station Chicken then this actually

We went to Rc's for Easter brunch. The food was served buffet style and the food was very good the service was a little slow to clear and bring drinks but they were very busy.
