A local favorite, always fresh, always delicious, small friendly vibes, incredible cocktails, what more can I say? Breakfast and lunch are bubbly and full of incredible options for all dietary restrictions. Vegan turmeric tofu scramble is both vegan and gluten free. Dinner vibes are moody with lots of candlelight. House made pasta and gnocchi, to die for, crab cakes and chicken livers are always raved about. Local beers and spirits, including NA options, served by knowledgable and friendly bartenders. For nearly twenty years Room 39 has served delightful experiences.

We had a good experience. Prices are good for what you get. Service is attentive even on a very busy Sunday. B&G was pretty bland and the rest of breakfast we had was pretty basic, but good. The brunch menu is your basic brunch menu.

The food at Room 39 is delicious!The variety is exceptional and prepared quickly!Such a great restaurant.
When searching for a local brunch spot Room 39 was high on a lot of lists.Deservedly so.We arrive on time for our reservation and we're sat promptly. Our waiter answered all our questions and the food came out quickly.It was very tasty and was just the right amount of food. Not too much like some brunch spots.Would definitely visit again.

Wife and I went for my 62nd birthday celebration. We had a lovely breakfast with crabcakes and avocado toast. Everything tasted great, including the bloody Mary’s, which I think were Mr. Mrs. T’s mix. I didn’t have to say the crabcakes were rather small for the price. Other than that we had a new waitress who was lovely and, we will come back again to explore other items on their menu. Just a note, they’re going to be a food vendor at the new Casey current stadium! You might want to check them out.
If you want to wait forever for cold under cooked food this is the place for you!!! They simply do not care about their customers. It's a shame. It smelt good.

At fabulous locatioin near KU Medical Center on 39th street. We had the scallops, which were excellent. The Albarino wine was excellent also. We also had a the lump crab cake that was very tasty.This is a great location for a quiet and romantic dinner. They do have a full bar. It is one of our favorite spots for a quite evening dinner.Parking: There was no separate parking lot. Since the new construction is going on in the former parking lot area. It is tough to find a street spot.
