Hidden treasure of a coffee shop here. Not a coffee drinker. This is one of two places that makes me a coffee believer. The other place for me is not even in KC. The late Bourdain would have loved this place.

Fun concept that I was surprised to find in the area. Visited a place similar to this in Budapest but with different execution. Here, you are able to browse a very wide selection of vinyl records for sale and sit listening to records they are playing for the day while enjoying a coffee. There were a few people there during my visit that were reading or sketching, making it a seemingly relaxing and creative atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very knowledgable about the records and the history behind many of them, especially in terms of value. Had a cappuccino and it was decent. The foam was a little off texture, but the drink itself had a nice coffee forward flavor. The only issue I experienced was the tight parking. Worth a visit, especially if you are looking for vinyl.

Sister Anne’s is, without question, the most solid record and coffee shop West of the Mississippi River! The music selection is always full of flavor! The owners and staff are out of site . I walked in for the first time in a couple years and was greeted by name. (That’s hospitality)! If you like good coffee snacks and discovering new music look no further! This place has you covered.

On a recent visit to KC, the wife and I were pleasantly surprised to see a coffee shop/record shop in walking distance to our Airbnb. When we arrived I was shocked to find a SOLID variety of vinyl, and had an amazing late.Great store and experience!!!

This is a fun little place. We're new to record collecting but this place was fun to pick through. Good coffee too! Bought 6 albums!

Coffee and pastries for me and records for the husband. What a perfect pairing. Best quiche and chocolate chip cookies we've had. And their coffee is a dream! This is our new favorite place, just wish it was closer to home.

Cappuccino was great!

Really love this place. Fantastic record selection with reasonable varying prices. I didn’t have to do a ton of digging to come across several absolute classics. They no doubt have some of your favorites from many genres. The front room has records sorted by genre and in the next room others sorted alphabetically (though the genre sections also seem to stick to alphabetically a good amount). They have an impressive cassette tape selection too if you’re into that. In addition to the great music selection, they have a nice cafe as well that makes this an all around great place to visit.

Super cool shop and good coffee.

Love the record store and coffee set up. Coffee is great. However, only 1 out of 3 baristas I've interacted with seemed genuinely friendly. Odd.

Jim pulls the best espresso on earth. All the other baristas are CLOSE runner ups. The baked goods by Nichole are gorgeous and delicious. Frank is the absolute dude to go to for records and between the staff they’re always playing a jam. Can’t rave enough.

I'm just in love with this place. The record selection is such a great mix: there's always an intriguing group of hard-to-find rarities, a good blend of gotta-haves for anyone's collection, plus a thoughtful assortment of new stuff. I always find something I need! In addition to the vinyl magic, there's fabulous coffee and baked goods, and plenty of room to hang out and spend some time.

You won't find more knowledgeable, caring and cool business owners. Frank and Jim know music inside out. Frank is a completist, perfectionist, expert on music and records. Jim is equally dedicated to coffee and pastry perfection.Try the chocolate chip cookies. They were just added in October 2023 and will be Best of KC soon!
