Food is SO GOOD! However, it just takes awhile to come out. A really long time. Don’t come super hungry and you will be fine. The service is great!!! Very, very friendly but the wait time knocks it down a peg.

5/1/24I was out in Westport and wanted to try something different cuz I was hungry stopped in for breakfast.I could complain about a lot of things, but I'm not going to start today. Between the service and the food I wish you guys well.It was my fault for not noticing that my food came with chorizo. It was my fault that I didn't realize the bacon is turkey and they put in a microwave? It was my wife's fault that when she said peanut butter on her pancakes they made her peanut butter pancakes. So it was really our fault because we speak a southern English I guess? I'm not too sure but it was a lot of miscommunication and they need a update their menu.For the best part about my breakfast was the potatoes. They were well seasoned and well cooked.

5.2.24Service is lacking. The chairs are uncomfortable. The sauce is runny. The potatoes are amazing but that's about it. The pancakes are dry and crumbly. The bacon is turkey but they don't tell you that. Expensive breakfast that leaves you unsatisfied.

Disappointing. The menu looked GREAT. Someone took our drink order right away but then never came back. Ten minutes passed, and another server came and took our drink order AGAIN plus our food order. Drinks came quickly, but the food took another 30 minutes. My meal was good although blander than something with jalapeños should be. My husband's Classic Benedict, which had bacon instead of Canadian bacon (okay, no biggie) that was so overcooked that it was easier to break the bacon than cut it with the steak knife provided. Mimosa was delicious but not enough to return.

Found Sunrise on a map search for "brunch," and so glad it turned up! The modest fare is super delish, and the laid-back atmosphere is perfect for a chill midday meal. Our server Angel was the most impressive part though. He is passionate about the place and its menu, checked in on us at magical just-right intervals, and even wrapped up our leftovers himself. Seriously grateful for his recommendations and obvious enthusiasm for his workplace! We will 100% go back regularly. Pic of the veggie burrito that I had with perfectly-roasted potatoes. My guy is a big fan of bloody Marys and says that they are simple but tasty.
