Had the rocket salad with chicken per the recommendation of those around me. Not kidding it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The half size is plenty! Was a little $$ but so tasty

Looking for a healthier alternative? The Mixx is your fix!! My favorite was the Main Street Chop Chop salad. I recently dared to be bold and tried the Cobb Wrap. PHENOMENAL! One more "must try" on my "The Mixx Bucket List" is the Steak Blue. Forgive me if I didn't get the name right however, the guy that was enjoying that delicious looking sandwich a few feet away appeared to be having the time of his life! LOL!

I used to go here all the time with my family. It's mostly CYO salad, sandwich, or bowl, so the menu items are kinda basic. But they're expecting you to add and modify the dishes, and they have lots of options, so make sure to do that!

The Mixx is a fast paced restaurant that offers diverse and delicious food options, ranging from salads and wraps to sandwiches and bowls. As a longtime customer, I appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and the customizable menu options. The casual yet modern atmosphere adds to the dining experience, making it a popular choice for lunch or dinner near the Plaza. Overall, it's a great spot for healthy and flavorful meals with great customer service.

Walking in to order was initially a bit confusing; I'm glad I didn't have my first visit during a rush. Otherwise I absolutely loved my salad and had a great experience. Personally I don't mind paying a bit of a premium for a quality meal. Can't wait to go back and continue learning my way around the menu and ordering process.Shout-out for being very veg*n friendly!

Love this place! Their food is consistently fantastic; from the salads to the street tacos. The staff is so fast and friendly, it makes the busy times tolerable and quick!I love dining in or taking out, both are made convenient with quick turn around times and a super pleasant experience and atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Fantastic options for veggie and vegan! Great for dairy free and GF, too!

Food is great.Last me so via door dash was not ready on time thus we missed our lunch time at work. My coworker had to skip lunch all together and go to a meeting. Very disappointed!

Love their salads, soup and fish sandwich. The roll is not great. Whole wheat with seeds. They need a new roll option with the salads. Staff is... okay. Nice space for a lunch date.

Just finished a Mediterranean Bowl and Manager asked me to give him feedback. I figure thus might be best way. Mediocre at best. Falafel I added, was dry and appears as if it wasn't fresh. Not edible. Quinoa portion with mushrooms and blue cheese and olives good but too much. I added a bed of fresh spinach for crunchy and fresh. Also added pickled onions. Dish needed something raw and pickled. Roll was hard and dry. Could have had 3x hummus instead of so much quinoa.

Probably top 3 favorite places to eat in KC. So many delicious, healthy options! And they don't compromise flavor for the health aspect. Its an awesome balance. Highly recomend the Garden of Eden Salad or Southwest Salad. Sweet potato fries are a yummy addition. Highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: They have easy sidewalk and entrance accessible by wheelchair. Seating is also wheelchair friendly!

The restaurant was relatively busy with several Togo orders but my food came within several minutes. I was pleasantly surprised.I ordered the Pretzel Chicken Sando with the soup of the day (Chicken Roja something). The soup was flavorful but not spicy. Not too salty either (there is a salt shaker on all the tables in case you want to add more). The sandwich was a bit too greasy. When I picked it up, my hands were coated in oil.But the sandwich tasted great. The flavor combinations worked well together & I didn’t feel too heavy after I finished it (as you typically do with greasy food). The music here wasn’t too loud, which I appreciated. But it could’ve been a little lower imo.
They forgot the steak on my salad
