I love Yum! Delicious food and a delightful owner. I definitely favor the macaroons and lemon bars. Only open on the weekends, sadly. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

As a neighbour small business, YUM is an amazing place for your sweet tooth cravings, anything she makes is absolutely delicious and very fairly priced and just wait till summer time for her drinks! I have been eating her treats longer than i have ran this store since back when she was on 39th and i’m so glad she is around the corner from us ?

The bakery decor is amazing. But pastries taste odd. The lemon cake (most expensive) and banana bread flavor was off & had spongy texture. Sweet potato (least expensive) donut was light, fluffy, and tasted good. It's a recession. No other customers were there. Alot of competition. My opinion is that she should create a Niche like host tea parties to better utilize the space. Then she should select 3 most popular pastries to serve (less costly inventory).

Only wish he had a digital menu or whole menu printed on the window, Folks don't wanna move from infront of small menu on the window so you can see it.

One of the best and most creative bakeries I have visited while here in KC. The owner has an inspiring story and I was honored to finally meet her in person. She recommended the grasshopper cookie and it was a perfect recommendation indeed(got one to go too). The sweet potato donut was light and wholesome. Lastly, the famous gooey ooey butter cake was loaded with sweetness and a creamy texture. Thanks for the hospitality and providing me with a map of the area. Extremely kind. YUM a boutique bakery is in my top three bakeries for the KC area.
