We had the absolute best family breakfast this morning!!! Kimmy was our waitress! Loved her talent and humor! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The food was spectacular as well! Thank you for everything!!!

The waitress was very nice and that's why it's not a lower rating. The hostess was a little rude and reminded me of Dexter from the cartoon Dexter's Laboratory; she didn't give us silverware. Two of our orders were incorrect and it took over 45 minutes to get our food.As we were leaving there were at least a dozen people waiting to be seated and could overhear complaints they were being taken out of order, which didn't make sense because there were at least a dozen open tables.

Took us 2 hours to have breakfast! There were 4 ladies working. 3 of them were working their butts off. Then there was the one sitting down chatting with a customer for a long time while custmers were getting frustrated and the other ladiess were running as fast as they could. Then she would see food ready to go out and not help her fellow coworkers by taking it to the tables. She would only take the food that was for her tables and ignore the rest. On top of that, she was bossy and rude to her coworkers. The food, once we got it, was pretty good. Our server was doing the best she could. Management needs to look at their employees and see who is a team player and who isn't.

We have taken a recent trip from California to Missouri in Route 66. This Dennys is by far the best Dennys food experience and the SERVICE IS AMAZING! Thanks Debbie for making us feel welcome.

Stopped at Denny's for the first time in years. Didn't want fast food Got a burger and fries and a breakfast platter. Both were pretty good. Our waitress was attentive and fun. We will put Denny's back on the list of places we would stop.

Our server was Kimberly. She also appeared to be the manager. When we offered compliments on the food, she went into the kitchen and brought James - the cook out to hear our compliments. The food looked exactly like the items photographed on the menu. Our meal was excellent. If you are traveling on Interstate 70 or Highway 54, be sure to stop and be treated to a great meal.

Disregarding delayed service (with completely empty lobby) & 17 minute wait after placed order "a country fried steak with double side mac & cheese" quite simple order... Got to my truck (my fault for not checking) cold potato's the worst gravy I experienced. Definitely could blow $17 elsewhere when the menu said $10. Would of have fed it to a dog... so I go to fix the order after I paid for a double side & tipped they ran out convenient.

This is my second time here this year and this has been only recently. The server has been the same both times and she is AMAZING! The food is hot, quick, and always taste wonderful. In today’s world it is hard to find better service.
There are very few options for eating at this exit unless you want fast food. We've had less-than-great experiences at Denny's locations in the past but this one had some positive reviews on Google. Our experience, however, was not positive. The atmosphere is definitely dated truck stop chic. We were seated, and served, by a tall server wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. Not impressive. It took quite some time for our order to be taken. Once it was taken, it took an even longer time for the food to be delivered. Two in our party ordered milkshakes; when delivered, they were very messy--running down the sides of the glasses. The server did not seem overly familiar with the menu based on some of the questions he asked. The chicken fried chicken was quite overdone. Once the food was served, we were only asked once if everything was okay or if we needed anything else, and that was about five minutes before we were ready to leave. We also had to ask for the check. There is another truck stop-style restaurant very close by--probably (hopefully) a better option.

No stars . Twice I have stopped there and was ignored. 2 months ago I went in and stood at the wait to be seated sign for 20 minutes while the only waitress leaned against the counter playing on her phone. Today I go in and was immediately told to sit wherever I like. I sat at the bar and watched 2 waitresses walk by pissed off at the world and neither acknowledged me . Sat there for 10 mins and left. Worse dennys I have ever been in and I will not waste my time with them again. Big middle finger to dennys kingdom city mo. If you don't want to work ...keep your a** at home

The last two times we have been there were horrible experiences. The first time we were seated then ignored. Had to find a waitress to order drinks then couldn't find her when ready to order. She had gone on her break before taking our order. We finally ordered our food and someone else brought it out. We never got extra napkins or drink refills. We tried to complain when paying but were ignored. We tried again recently and we waited to be seated for 15 minutes and we weren't even acknowledged. We left and went to the Iron Skillet- much better. Do not recommend. Won't go back

Food was made fast, hot, fresh, correct, good. Came in at 2am. Hostess was sweet & kind & attentive. I tipped 10% online. Ordered takeout on the app. I wouldve tipped more but dennys always fails so this time i just couldnt take the short end of the stick. Portions was good. I wish dennys quality was better lol. U can tell its like high quality mcdonalds. At least the price is accurate lol. I created my own burger. & the wavy fries are always good money. I ordered two of them total.
