“SIP downtown has such a classy, fun environment with great food and service! I have gone with friends for an evening out, live music, special events, wedding showers and not once have I been disappointed. Laci and her staff provide a lovely little gem to downtown KV.”

“The food and staff here are awesome. Had me the Baltimore Blu and fries... it was so good I ordered a bulldog to chase it down. Staff was very nice. Talked to the bartender for a bit. I am a super happy customer. If you are ever in town, drop by and get you a burger. You will like it, or somethings wrong with yah.”

“Some of the best gelato around! Full of flavor & they don't disappoint. The sea salt caramel was truly unforgettable. We had a dark red one, I believe was raspberry. We plan on returning to try their other flavors. Our server was very friendly & helpful.”

“I placed an online order for 2 racks of ribs last Friday and moments later Colton's Kirksville location called me and told that they ran out of ribs and asked me to get something else. I ordered a burger and I was told that I'd get a refund for the price difference of 2 racks of ribs and the burger.I called Colton's Kirksville today since I didn't get that refund (more than $10) and had to tell the same story for 4 people over the phone and the last person (he said his name was Cody) told me that he can't do anything about it since I didn't spoke to the manager at the first time.PS: Three days after I posted this review, I received a phone call and a email from Colton's and I received a full refund for the total. I'm glad that the error was corrected. Thank you very much! I will be trying some ribs from Colton's today :)The email said:"Adjustment Processed: FULL REFUND -$26.08Adjustment Explanation from the Restaurant: Restaurant could not make order: Sorry for not being able to make your order. And the confusion on the phone. Have a nice day."”

“Went at lunchtime on a weekday. We were seated quickly and food arrives quickly after ordering. Food was great. Lots of pictures of the owner's experiences with his grandmother in Mexico around the establishment. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend to friends.”

“I usually have lunch, which is take out only. I am not a vegetarian, but I always order the vegetarian sushi when I order sushi and absolutely love it! Excellent sesame chicken and the Meso soup is fantastic. The staff and crew are very kind and professional. Definitely my go to place!!”

“I can't put into words how much I loved this restaurant. We came upon it by chance in the late afternoon and decided to have supper there. We sat on the deck and watched the sunset while the lake sparkled. Once the sun went down.. the moon took over and our view of the glass-like lake was phenomenal. The relaxing ambiance of the outdoor deck overlooking the lake was perfect.As for the food... it was delicious. We were so impressed with the service (they were so nice to us). I can't say enough about how much we loved this little gem of a restaurant!We will definitely be back!”

“I eat pastries from here every week at the BSU. They are so good! The staff is friendly and helpful when I go into the store. They answer all of our questions, and help us pick the best option for us. The prices are wonderful, and the food is amazing. I would highly recommend!”

“I have eaten here since i was a kid Back in the day the palonza was called a different name. But it is still amazing food today that I enjoy and every time I am in town i try to make sure I get a palonza. The only reason I don't give five stars is cause i always feel there is room for improvement even though i don't know what they need.Parking: Its on the square depending on time could be difficult to find parking.”

“I have been here a few times to study and it is a pretty nice place to get comfortable and study for a few hours. Today they gave me a free drink that they had initially made for someone else in the wrong size which I thought was super nice and also very glad to know they did not waste it.”

It's a rather large building with a nice size foyer for waiting customers...this place is in Kirksville, Mo.”

“This was one of my favorite stops by far.The food was so good the wife got a cheese burger with bourbon bacon jam and I only got one bite of it it but boy was it good.. I got the tenderloin and it was also very good. We both got waffle fries and they were perfect...The young lady that seated us and served us was absolutely amazing she did her job very well...If you are in or around Kirksville or that area I would highly recommend looking the fort up and giving a try, it was probably the best experience we have to date...Kid-friendliness: They had a pool table dart boards and a claw machine”

“Locals recommended the fried chicken since it's Tuesday and that's fried chicken day. So I went with that and was not disappointed! Excellent fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Kid got a waffle and said it was the best waffle of her life.”

“Anytime we are in Kirksville we stop in this great little bar. Rum buckets are amazing! They always play a variety of music. Lots of older music because its a 70s club but they always take request. Outdoor patio is nice in summer.”

The place was very clean, the staff was nice, and those sidewinder fries are indeed something I favor over anything else we have had in town! “I love this place so much! The diversity is much needed in kirksville and I wish more people would be willing to try their food! My favorite thing is the chicken korma or chicken Tikka masala. My only complaint is the place isn't the cleanest BUT most places aren't in kirksville, so for me the flavor of food outweighs the cleanliness haha. If you're looking for something different, give it a try!”

“The restaurant was clean, we were greeted when we arrived.The place was busy, but not crowed at 3:45pm on Thursday afternoon. We ordered Gyro sandwich, Reuben sandwich, Fried whole catfish. All items were quite good.
