I heard about a promotion on the Daily blast TV show from a NASA representative saying that sonic was sponsoring a eclipse drink. So I went up to get one it was not like they describe no ice cream in it and it did not come with a free eclipse glasses which is what I wanted.

Randomly just shuts down with no sign etc. often get at the drive thru around 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays ( they open at 9 a.m.) sit there for 15 minutes and nobody comes on the microphone. Swirls the parking lot a couple times then goes back to the box and still nobody. Lights often on and Sometimes I can clearly see somebody in there so I say hey through the microphone still nothing. Employees apparently often don’t show up when they are suppose to at this location. I try calling the number too and nobody answers. I don’t know why they just don’t shut down permanently. This place has been on ongoing problem in kirkwood for a long time. They need to free this property up for a real professional business. They are wasting prime space on this joke of a so called business. Ridiculous.

I pulled in the drive thru and waited for like 5 minutes and no one took my order. So i drive around to the “stall” and pressed the button, it flashed a couple times and turned off, so I pressed it again and the guy who took my order goes “ugh hello what do you want” so I said i wanted and he goes “speak up” so i repeated myself and said thank you and it just went quiet. i’m not the type to leave a bad review but the guy working there needs to be let go or something because it’s the same guy who is always rude…

Waited for 20 mins to order, then the person taking my order said they were out of the item I wanted and immediately disconnected without allowing me to order something else...This place use to be good, it's went way down hill the last few years.Reflective of poor management and or ownership.

I bought a large shake and it was all watered down. It was so nasty I couldn't drink it. I was passing through to go to a funeral and so I couldn't take it back. I wasted $5

This afternoon while giving our order to an attendant at this sonic and gentleman taking the order advised us that he could not hear one of our orders and proceeded to cuss and use racial slurs. He stated he was not going to “strain his ear for white honky mfers”.
I ordered a strawberry cream slush… ended up getting a cup plain ice slush not mixed up with a little grape flavor. I didn’t want or ask for grape, there was absolutely no ice cream mixed in. I also ordered a corn dog. This came out super cold and the dough was not cooked… very upset rn.

The burgers were good and onion rings were great! The fries, not so good. Under cooked.No trash can to drop off trash on way out. Had to drive around, get out of car and walk up to can by tables. That's unexcusable.

We pulled into a stall and waited 10 minutes and we're never greeted. People who pulled in next to us pulled in, order, got their food and left before we decided to leave. Then we tried to go through the drive-thru, no one served there either. Two cars pulled up before us and also left without being waited on.
