The rainbow trout was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. Fish cooked to perfection, flavorful sauce, perfect sides. I will go back just to have it again. The service was also great!

We had dinner here before seeing a show in Kirkwood. This was our first time eating here and loved it! I have to eat gluten free so had the salmon and it was delicious!! My fiancé had the pasta with clams and said it was really good too. I would recommend eating here whenever you're looking for a nice place for dinner!

We ate here over the weekend. The service & food was phenomenal! Our waitress was outstanding. I ordered the trout, it was delicious. My husband ordered the steak. He also was very satisfied with his meal. We will definitely return. What a gem in Kirkwood!

The medium rare here was perfect. Andersen (sp?) is a great server; knowledgeable, everpresent and responsive, but not intrusive. The host (likely also the owner (didn’t catch his name, but know that he was once a runner and now prefers bicycling due to his knees - mine aren’t great anymore either) is a great conversationalist and friendly to all guests. I also saw him teach a waiter a new (to the waiter) method of opening a bottle of wine. The old fashioned and the Moscow mules are great.

An excellent place for consistently good food, friendly knowledgeable servers, and a very generous pour of wine in a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
Came here for a recruitment dinner and the staff was so nice and helpful. The food was pretty good but very rich and tasted a little fuddy duddy but I think people from these parts like that. The salmon had a tasty crust and sauce on it. It was all very good but the winner was the sourdough rolls even though they only gave me one.

We went in for the first time today. Overall the food was delicious with the exception of the crab cakes as they came out cold. The place is cute and the gentleman that sat us was sweet and attentive. Unfortunately our server ruined our experience. Chris our server, not only showed a disinterest in serving us, he went out of his way to make us feel uncomfortable. When we were ordering our meal I requested to sub out a side and he seemed irritated by the request. When our food arrived I asked what dessert options were available and his response was along the lines of I can't answer your question because I have to attend my other tables. I was instantly appalled and disappointed. As the food and vibe was good we'd most likely come back to try other dishes but we would request to not have the same server.

I love this place. My husband and I ordered curbside from here every weekend for our date night during the COVID pandemic. All the meals were prepared with care, there never anything missing--the meals were simply delicious and the meat was tender and the salad was crisp. They offered nice selection of bottled wines with the meals. My husband and I had the valentine dinner menu last year. It was mouth watering and so..so. good! The service is top notch and ambiance is great. I highly recommend this restaurant for birthday events, which we have attended, the selections are well prepared. Everyone makes you feel like you are at home having a meal!
