We stayed at Onondaga Cave State Park. Skippy's is the closest restaurant to the park. We ordered the meal to take out as we had our dog with us. They had outdoor seating which we would have utilized if we were staying in the nearby park. The food was excellent. My wife had the chicken dinner. We ordered potato skins for an appetizer. I ordered Walleye with tarter sauce. The Walleye was cooked perfectly, but tater sauce made the meal. I think it was homemade and it was delicious.
The food is always very good and received in a timely manner. The people aren't rude but they're not exactly pleasant. They create a less welcoming atmosphere than you would expect from a small town eatery. Their burgers are fantastic though.

We stopped in for an afternoon lunch. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had chili and a toasted cheese sandwich. I was impressed with the chili and liked how much meat they put in it. Our waitress was very nice and the food hit the spot.
