First time here and we waited 15 minutes before server even came to greet us . All he said is what do you want ? Took drink and food order at the same time and still waited another 10 minutes for drinks . Definitely don’t not recommend at all !!! This place is trash ! Go to the one on

I've always had a good experience dining here. A lot of the staff have worked there for years, and the food hasn't changed in quality in the 10 years I've eaten here.

Quiet and cozy. The authentic Mexican food was excellent. My wife and I had the "El Gordo" and it came out on 2 plates and we split the food. We were both stuffed and very impressed. I consider this an incredible value as we both got very full of amazing food for only $15.99 for the 2 of us each eating 1/2 of the order. I am looking forward to going back.

Good food and service. The staff keeps the restaurant clean. I would recommend to friends.

They always act like carry out is bothering them. Ordered two cheese dips, and one chips and salsa and only received two chips. No big deal. I just asked for the other package and they rudely told me that was all I was going to get even though I had three orders. Told me to order more next time. Just not very friendly people and the order was 15 minutes late.

My wife and I tried to eat at La Fuente on a Monday evening a couple of weeks ago. We tried to get into Barrigas and El Potro. However, they were packed and the wait was long. So we tried to eat at La Fuente. Big mistake! No one was being served or eating. We only saw one server. I could see people through the window of the door to the kitchen who were clearly jacking around. We turned around and walked out! The restaurant was not inviting either as their lighting was bright white like a hospital cafeteria. No ambiance!

found a hair on my plate after eating my meal, looked like short black hair, maybe eyebrow? Don't know, won't go back.

AVOID LA FUENTE! AVOID LA FUENTE! I ate there for lunch today, and ordered Potato LaFuente, by pointing at it on the menu. The server brought our food, and in taking my first bite, I knew that it was the wrong thing. It had none of the things described in it. The server (Marco?) never came back to check on our table, I was starving, so I ate it. When he came back to bring our check, I told him that I was willing to pay half-price since I did eat it; he said that he thought that I wanted an entre on another page of the menu. Pollo-something or other (there was no chicken in the dish that he brought...) Long story short, he was willing to deduct 10%; I said no. Poor service, didn't check on customers, delivered wrong food, was very argumentative, non-customer centric; will never go back nor UberEats this business. El Potro, about 1/2 mile down the street, is an awesome place to eat, always friendly, great service; Marco was a great advertisement for them.

Forget the negative reviews of La Fuente, as this restaurant is excellent and always satisfies. They work very hard to make sure your experience is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything on the menu is excellent, including the Margaritas. This is our GOTO mexican restaurant.

Last couple of times I have picked up to go orders they act like I’m an inconvenience. Last time I got shorted a Chip and salsa and this time bean dip. The food is really good but the service is bad. Won’t be back

Food was mid, service was mid, ambience was okay. There's an infinite number of Mexican restaurants that are better and cost less. No real reason to go here

DONT GO HERE!! Go to any other Mexican restaurant before this one. They will over charge you!!! And the food is horrendous!! Food - mediocre at best. I had chicken enchiladas and they were ok. The refried beans tasted like fish water. The cheese dip tasted like stale burnt peppers. Plus our server messed up our orders and never came back. Service - awful!! The server was not paying attention when taking our order. We order meals and 2 of them we requested no beans just rice and she charged us for extra rice. We ordered cheese sauce on our burrito and enchiladas and it only came on enchilada's but we were charged for both. When we went to pay and tell them the issue because she never came back they did not listen so we just paid. And just washed our hands of the whole deal. Then when we see our credit card charge they increased the tip on our card. What the heck!! Who does that!!! Don't go here!! Go to Carmens! Over trying all the Mexican restaurants in LEE'S Summit.

I always eat here when I'm in the neighborhood. The Chorizo and Huevos is the best in town!

I love La Fuente! It is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Their cheese dip is one of my favorite too!
