Wow! What a find. Only open on Thurs/Fri/Sat but holy cow/yum! I got the special app-lemon ricotta honey goat cheese bruschetta and the scallops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My husband got the meatballs and red sauce with pasta. Both were absolutely phenomenal. We also had craft cocktails/the limoncello martini was inane. Go!

So grateful for this bistro. Amazing food that is out of this world bursting with flavor. I had the garlic pasta with shrimp and it came with a side salad. Fresh, healthy and delicious. Just what I needed in the middle of my work day. Very thankful the did to go. If you haven’t been here yet….you must! Restaurant staff is amazing!

Absolutely devine.Limited seating, limited hours, and unlimited deliciousness. You will not go wrong making a reservation for dinner to this place. What a jewel!Appetizers: On point.Salad: Fantastic.Salmon w/mashed potatoes and asparagus was yummy to the last bite. The bowl of farfalle w/red sauce and meatballs? We fought over it!Remember, the place is small, so your reservation is only good for 90 minutes as there are people outside lining up to have their go at this wonderful creation.

My partner and I went here for Valentine's Day because everyone had spoken very highly of Farfalle. We were, unfortunately, disappointed in the quality for the price. We did the Valentine's dinner so it was $150 base and listed as 4 courses. My scallops were chewy and all differing levels of doneness when served. The appetizer was decent but I recognized a lot of the products. There were only a few crackers on the plate. The desserts were lacking in quantity. One of the drinks we were served was so strong it was not drinkable. All this said, not worth the well over $200.Edit: unfortunately, our waitress went silent when I mentioned less than positive experiences.

We had the pleasure to enjoy our Valentine's dinner here. The Pre Fixed four course meal consisted of five entrees to select from, an appetizer plate, salad and a dessert plate of various Italian specialties to share. There were add ons, lobster tail and shrimp for additional charge. As always, each dish was deliciously prepared and presented. The dining room was full and a pleasant dining experience was had by all guests. The serving staff was attentive, and Chef's Carrie and Joey made visits to the dining room guests. You will now have the opportunity to enjoy dining on Thursday's in addition to Friday and Saturday. Guests who frequent The Farfalle Bistro will notice menu items in addition to the delicious Italian meals they've grown to love. If you haven't tried this hidden gem in downtown Lee's Summit, you will not be disappointed. They also cater as well as can be your private party destination.

My hubby and I LOVE it here. It is such a personal experience, the chef comes out and talks to you, the food is amazing. I love the atmosphere. I recommend getting reservations. This weekend we had a reservation and they had to cancel due to bad weather and they sent us a free entree voucher for our next visit - that is good service! 20/10 would recommend

The most amazing Italian food. The owner is a sweetheart. Comes by table to check on you. She is the most talented cook! The place is extremely small which makes it a quaint romantic date night or a great place for friends to catch up but since it's so small if you get a group or two that thinks they are the only guests the volume is overpowering! A friend and I went there for our annual Christmas dinner and we could not even have a conversation! I could not even shout to get her to hear me My suggestion would be to put a sign on a tripod when you enter that says something like "One of the special things about this place is our small quaint atmosphere, however, for everyone to have an equally enjoyable experience we appreciate you being considerate of the volume of your voice." Probably could be worded differently but I've seen such signs at speakeasy's where they don't allow cell phones and sports bar type volume,as it is supposed to be all about the atmosphere. Again, I can't say enough about the food, the service and the ownership, but beyond that conversation with a girlfriend was not happening.

Cozy place with good ambience, like siting at a dining table with a bunch of friends and family.. They were very busy with a large broup of 10 and although there were empty tables, we were asked to wait until the hostess (?) asked the waitress if we could be seated.. So we had to wait a little bit before we got menus, etc... I was looking at the catering menu out of curiosity, and was basically told I could not look at it.. weird. Any way the order was taken and food was app was brought which was VERY good, 2 kinds of bread witth 3 different dipping sauces.. yummy.. Had to ask for small bread plates and I got my own straw for my water. Pasta was excelllent, Cream sauce and Pesto sauce both with chicken (+$7) . Personally I think bread is a standard with Italian dishes, but no.... and then they lost my credit card.....but found it and we all laffed...hahahaa.. $73+tip for 2 dinners, 1 app and 1 dessert... Those dining experiences are gonna cost you...

Reservations recommended. Walk in, relax, have a drink. Not a place that serves "fast food". Enjoy your time here. Eat, drink relax! The humans working here haven't forgotten you are there. They take care of you! Reminds me of a little Italian place in Italy.

Not sure where the Chef trained, but the food is not Italian. The sauce on the dishes I tasted was so sweet it was like the chef had dropped a bag of sugar in it. The pricing is extremely high for a pasta and sauce dish, then they charge extra for a protein (meatball etc). $10 for a glass of wine,... Just not worth it for me.
