Everything else was fine but I had one problem. The food took an hour to bring out the food. Even when it was fairly empty. Very disappointed considering I’ve only had good encounters. Also haven’t seen waitress for half the time.

I think Tiff n Jay's is kind of like a "Cheers" community restaurant and bar. Warm, friendly, great food, friendly staff and a "feel-good" kind of place.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger is really good. Salads are good.

This is easily one of the best sports bars around. It is reasonably priced, well staffed, and the food is great. No matter where you are, you can probably see the screen.

I grew up in the area so I've seen this place for a very long time. I've drove past when the parking lot is completely full and people parking along the side streets, so it can get very busy. They have plenty of TVs to catch any game you want to watch. The inside is wide open so no place to block noise so it can get rather loud. I can see where this would be a great place to catch a single game. We went in for the taco special. They are hard shelled with ground beef. I didn't think there was anything special about them. My wife crunched hers up and made a taco salad in the basket. I had the chicken fingers Buffalo style. I'm not wild about the Buffalo sauce they use. You may like it. We went with a group and it was mostly the consensus that the food was good but not something that we would come back on a regular basis for. I heard there is a room downstairs that can be reserved for parties.

Good food, prompt & courteous service. Thursday is dollar tacos & they are really good! After eating, our CMA group meets downstairs with room to spare for large groups. They get a 10+ from me!

This was a perfectly acceptable place for a moderate sized group (50-60). The Wednesday night our work party was scheduled, they were also doing some kind of bingo event and the upstairs was packed wall to wall with people. With advance planning, we were able to reserve the lower level with its own bar, bartender as well as 2 pool tables. We fit with plenty of room to spare. The parking is atrocious. Our party was scheduled to begin at 5:30 and only those who arrived before 5pm had a place to park in Tiff & Jay’s parking lot. The bank next door was closing but threatened to tow any cars parked in their lot. The small shopping center directly south across all 4 lanes of Woods Chapel Rd filled quickly. We ended up parking in another small strip mall location. Our parking was also south across all 4 lanes of an under lit section of Woods Chapel a block further west. The pedestrian crossing situation was dangerous and the lack of lighting didn’t feel safe. All in all, I can easily eat bar food in a friendly atmosphere in dozens of bars throughout the Lee’s Summit, Independence, Blue Springs area. I have no desire to return to Tiff & Jays unless it’s another office party. I’ll bear the average food and inadequate parking to have a fun relaxing evening with coworkers. Personally, I may make recommendations for several other options for next year’s get together.Parking: Not enough parking for a social event night and it was an ordeal when our office party was added to the mix.

My family has been here a 3 times over the past couple of months because our neighbors have had good things to say about Tiff N Jays. I've had the pulled pork tacos, chicken fried steak, and patty melt. The food has been under seasoned, overdone and lukewarm (at best). The seat yourself policy seems to be a problem from other reviews. We had that experience one evening when we waited over 30 minutes before being served, and even then that was because we flagged down a server. There has always been a large and loud group that, when added to the flashing of multiple large TV screens, creates quite the overstimulating environment.

Too bad there isn't a 0 star option. We knew they were busy and would have a wait, we sat before 4 tables around us, one of them a party of 20. All of them ordered after us, but after a 45 min wait they had their food and we still didn't have ours. Awful time and table management at this place.

A great place to eat, have a drink, and watch the game. The food is great and the service is always good. There are so many options and the daily specials never disappoint. Come on Wednesday night for "Singo" - Super fun for everyone!

Great food, great atmosphere, great prices. Packed for Chiefs games. If there was a Lee’s Summit “Cheers,” this would be it. We love eating here.
