Part of a place like this is the show that comes with cooking your food in front of you. Our grill person seemed a bit off. There was food off the grill, all around my plate and on my drink glass.
Not very good atmosphere. The servers and the cook were nice but the food is awful. Definitely do NOT recommend.

This is a nice weeknight Japanese Steakhouse but if it's a special night I recommend a different one. It's not well organized and the food is just ok. The steaks are small and the shrimp is chewy compared to others I've experienced. Obviously not bad enough to go back but I definitely had better!Kid-friendliness: I would say a super fun place for kids 5+. There are scary times for some kiddos but they end up loving it, 1:1 ratio is best!

The hibachi at Fuji Sushi & Grill was great! Our chef was enthusiastic and entertaining even considering the restaurant was super busy and we watched him serve 3 other tables.My review for "service" isn't aimed at the servers. when they had TIME to see us, they were great. This restaurant either needs to hire more staff or stop taking take out orders.We called about an hour and a half in advance for a reservation, which was accepted over the phone. When we arrived, we waited about an hour and a half to be seated. I'm used to waiting a while to be seated at hibachi; please DON'T take our reservation if you can't honor it. We would have been happy to arrive an hour earlier to wait around for our table if we knew that was the way this restaurant operated.The great food and kind staff saved our experience in the end but it was really an awful first impression. If they just said no reservations accepted, our evening would have been far better.Thank you for having us! We loved the food and yall work SUPER hard to serve your guests.Kid-friendliness: The chef threw shrimp to everyone. The kids loved that.Wheelchair accessibility: Open floor plan allows easy access for wheelchairs.

We enjoyed this tonight. Waitress was friendly and let us know we may have to wait so we sat at bar and had a drink and watched basketball. Then we were seated pretty quickly thereafter. Ordered sushi platter, Edimame for apps both very flavorful. Our Hibachi chef was super friendly and fun to watch and good at all the tricks and what not. Main meals were all good and large in quantity with very fair pricing for a full service Japanese Hibachi grill and sushi bar. Best in the Northland in my opinion.

Our server Ms. Connie was the absolute doll! Our Chef was amazing and funny as well. My husband and I shared the Fuji Deluxe and was more than enough for the both of us. Our filet was like butter, the fried rice was awesome, and the crab ragoon was great as well. Will most definitely go back again for the amazing food and service!
Personally, we just got carry-out because we wanted the delicious fried rice and yellow sauce. All the food was great. We had no problems with pickup, and the interior looked extremely nice.We tried several items on the menu, and they were all solid. I especially liked the seafood salad. The fried rice wasn't my favorite hibachi fried rice, but it was still great. The steak was EXCELLENT, and the vegetables were flavorful.The sushi was great.The postickers were okay.Overall, it was a great experience. Carry out was simple and easy as well.
