I had a wonderful experience at Johnny's liberty. I had a Cajun Shrimp pasta. It was excellent if you visit, you must get nice jumbo shrimps. There was a band with the singer there, Lauren Ashli it was very soothing nice music nice atmosphere. I love this liberty location. I will be coming back here it's sad the downtown area is not on the same page with your liberty location. The staff was very friendly, very tentative liberty is my place of choice today.

I love going to Johnnie's in Liberty. The atmosphere is amazing and the entertainment is outstanding. The service is good and Peyton and Seth are amazing. Johnnie's is my favorite place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Nice jazz club. Visiting from out of town. The air-conditioner was on. It's still winter! Uncomfortable. I ordered truffle fries for a snack, not a lot of truffle on it. Taste like regular fries. The food must not be good because all the people around me did not eat their food. Seriously!!

The wait staff was amazing as usual The food was good The entertainment was changed from when we made the reservation but still good ( Just not who we were expecting) Unfortunately the hostesses were rude and refused to listen when I requested lounge seating There were non reserved seats available and instead of listening to my request to allow us to seat separately Just told us they were booked and not a seat in the lounge was available.... We have been coming here for over a year weekly as sometimes more ... and reservations seats have a reservation sign We continued to see open seats thru the performance and watched non reservation couples be sat at the empty tables. I have a family member who likes routine and always is treated very well here... unfortunately this was not the case tonight... so I feel we need to take a break from this establishment!

We visited for the first time on Wednesday, a country night. The best part of our experience was the entertainment, Damien Gunn Band. We tried to go one other time but could not get in because we did not have a reservation. The require this, yet there was something like 6 total tables in the 2+ hours we were there. The attendants, from hostess to waitress, were friendly, but incredibly slow. It probably took 30 minutes to get an appetizer and we were over an hour before our main course arrived. Once finished, there was another long wait to get our check. The food was very average. My husband had chicken tenders and I had an pork chop. The flavor was okay, but it was very tough. The best part of the meal were the cheesecake bites, which were likely frozen and brought in from another source. The environment itself was good. Nice facility, very clean, and the live music was fun. Again, the staff was kind and polite, but I would not say attentive and they could not have been understaffed given how few tables were there. All in all, a disappointing experience.

We went for game night. We were sat in a booth far away from everyone else. The lady running the bingo made multiple comments about how young she was and how old the music was. She struggled to find her own word's to speak multiple times. The waitress gave us the adult drink menu but every drink we wanted she apologized for and said they didn't have it. I finally opened for the water I already had. My friend decided on just a coke with cherries in it but alas, they were sorry but they didn't have cherries. We ordered our food and the waitress spilled the dressing all over herself, the table and my friends meal as she brought it to the table. She never came back to clean it up. She didn't come back until we had finished (my friend picking around the dressing she didn't want on her meal). She didn't notice anything strange at all. It was miserable and I wouldn't consider going back.

EXTREMELY MISLEADING MENU!! Please be careful if you have dietary restrictions many items marked Gluten Free on the menu are fried in the same fryer as everything else (Nachos, Fries, etc). Staff wasn't knowledgeable about how items are prepared. Seasoned fires lack any detectable seasoning...No salsa is offered with the Nachos... Music is great .Service was lackluster. Had to ask for a drink menu. Gluten-free bun wasn't used initially, by the time the sandwich was delivered as ordered, the rest of the party had already finished eating.DO NOT LIST menu items Gluten-free if they are prepared with other dishes full of Gluten! If you have any dietary restrictions where not following them could have a negative impact on your health, please consider eating somewhere else.

We were extremely disappointed when we choose Johnnies to celebrate our anniversary. We had the salmon and the ribs. both were awful. bland and tasteless. The asparagus was over cooked and totally limp. The band and the singer was perfection.

First visit. Pleasantly surprised. It's in the same building with a movie theater complex. The atmosphere was date-worthy and live music (jazz) was really great. Would definitely recommend.

I went on my birthday for the first time to Johnnie's and I was so fortunate Lori Tucker and her band were performing that night! She and they are brilliant! She's a delight as a person! The food was so delicious, the drinks were as well! (I got the salmon with asparagus and truffle fries, the Blackberry Maker's Mark-arita and the Apple Cider Martini — it tasted just like apple cider, with a kick). The servers and staff I want to give a shout out to as well because they really made my night perfect, too. I've never experienced such top notch service in my life. I could not have asked for a better birthday. I've wanted to go to Johnnie's for years now and now I am hopelessly devoted to you and forever grateful. For my review I just want to add, this is how much I spent there, you could go and enjoy yourself for less money than me. Don't be dissuaded by how much I spent.

I love the atmosphere here but I have to say the food is REALLY disappointing. This could be such an amazing place if they would step it up in their kitchen! This review is based off numerous visits over the last 5 years. Approximately 6-7 visits total. Each time we have left disappointed but keep coming back for the music. Again, we decide to go on Valentine’s Day because it’s close to home and they have dinner and music.Loved the idea of the preset valentines dinner. We both ordered the oysters and soon as they sat them on the table they reeked of a foul stench fish smell. I love oysters and have had them at numerous places. Oysters are not suppose to smell like a rotten fish! Both my husbands and I sent them back for salads instead. The pork shank was good! The pasta was very blah…Mixed drinks were absolutely awful. I’m an ex bartender that hates to complain about food and drinks unless really granted! I ordered 2 different ones and both were undrinkable. I finished 1/2 my 1st one and ordered a different one thinking it would be better…took one sip and no…I didn't send it back just left it sitting on the table full. After sending the oysters back I gave up. Very frustrating that I couldn’t even enjoy a drink on valentines night and listen to music. I can overlook one or two oops but come on…when there’s more negative than positive…it needs to be addressed.Cheesecake was edible but the chocolate cake tasted stale as if it was baked 4-5 days ago and frozen and left out to thaw. Very dry! Took two bites and threw away. Ordered 9 different items off the menu that night between drinks, apps, entrée, and dessert and only 2 were good!? The pork shank and strawberry salads were good. Everything else failed miserably. The band was amazing!!!. Sadly we will go else where when we want dinner and music. After 5 years of hoping it would turn around, I can’t torture myself with the horrible food anymore! Please address your kitchen and food quality. You could do so much better!

Both my wife and I had heartburn and gas after eating there. I'm not sure if it was the chicken quesadillas or the sweet potato fries that might have been the culprit. The service seemed slow and prices seemed a bit high.

Johnnie’s is an excellent choice. The atmosphere is gorgeous art deco, the chef is fantastic, and the service is impeccable. Come for dinner and music, then walk through the door into the theater and see a movie! Love this
