Side Project Brewing Brewery • $$
7458 Manchester Rd, Maplewood

“Finally made it to Side Project. The place is so cozy and inviting both in layout and decor. The food was amazing. The spicy chicken sandy is SUPER hot and HUGE. Great smash style burgers as well. Beer is second to none, kind of literally. The best part is their people. Devin and Katie were super helpful in explaining their beers and helping me choose two amazing options. High quality personable staff. Great date spot or just a spot to have a couple outrageously big beers.“

The Side Project Patio Brewery •
2657 Lyle Ave, Maplewood

“Lovely patio with plenty of seating, dog and kid friendly and a variety of Side Project beer, soda, or cocktails in a can to choose from. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and an added bonus is Pizza Champ shares the same space. Pizza and beer is a perfect combination. It is currently decorated for Halloween and they will be hosting some Halloween themed events. Go enjoy the patio before it gets walls up for the winter!“

“This is a MUST for anyone making St. Louis their hometown!! It's different tours to rsvp, so make sure it’s a drinking/tasting tour & it’s fun!! Some of our party didn't arrive on time (me) & was offered the nxt tour!**closed shoes" , no heels, flip-flops, sandals etc, gift shop but bring ur own shoes!! Or at the least socks, they did have some shoes to borrow depending on size & I lucked up they had my size!I must say, the tour guide had patience with us a group, we had all kinds of blend of people which made it interesting ? & exciting!! Seeing the xtra huge barrels of beer...the tour guide told the story of underground access being fictional, but as a student of the school directly across from it in the 80's (1986/1987) I debunked tht myth cuz we know the truth, cuz we explored & those caught got into major trouble & we all ran down the alley ways so none of the teachers or Principals knew who skipped school!!Oh, here's something else, it's 36° in one of the tour chamber, I didn't hv a jacket on w/short sleeve crop shirt & jeans...it was freezing then tolerable but take a sweater/cover!!Before we toured we had food & I ordered minestrone soup inquired if it was vegetarian, Yes & went to ask...I'm eating the soup but, it tastes of meat I ask again, now I'm told it has chicken inside & they replaced it fries & cheese sauce, which I would've ordered if I wanted fried food, but I didn't make a fuss cuz our tour was about to start!!“

“We were visiting from Australia and had long planned to visit this brewery. We did the tour and it was really fun and informative. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. The clydesdales were awesome. I tried some good beers. I bought a cool shirt but lost it somewhere between the Uber and checking out of the hotel so that was a downer...“

“Definitely check this local St. Louis Brewery out! When the weather is nice, they have a fun & chill outdoor seating area. Really good beers, too! We did end up going inside and it's unique and has a super fun vibe! The bartender was really friendly & sociable! We didn't try the food but hear it's good too! Also, grabbed a couple of their free stickers!!“

Wellspent Brewing Company Brewery • $
2917 Olive St, St. Louis - 5.81 miles

“My wife and I worked with Wellspent for our wedding welcome event of roughly 70 people. The location was perfect given our downtown hotel location. The drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Staff was great and super responsive to all our questions before the event. We were able to craft a playlist and had a slideshow on the big screen for everyone to watch. The space is bright and attractive and the staff who worked the event were very friendly, quick, and just delightful. Would strongly recommend Wellspent if you are considering a small private event in the area!“

Earthbound Beer Brewery • $
2724 Cherokee St, St. Louis - 5.34 miles

“5/5 stars for Earthbound. I appreciate how easy they were to work with as our wedding venue. Stuart, the owner, answered all my questions and met with us several times before the big day to discuss our needs. This is a small business, so you will not get an entire waitstaff or suit-and-tie aesthetics (hopefully, you already knew that). You do get real people who listen, support a small business, don't break the bank, and get to have a unique, beautiful, earthy, and urban wedding venue. Not to mention, they make great beer! #thousanddollarwedding“

2nd Shift Brewing Brewery • $
1601 Sublette Ave #2, St. Louis - 2.42 miles

“Very relaxed microbrew with a good selection of different types of beers. Super friendly service. Only a couple of tvs near the bar, so it's not the best place to watch sports, but a very good place to enjoy beer. Was too cold to sit outside, but it looks like a great layout for warmer weather. Recommend a couple of the IPAs. For something a little sweet but strong, take a look at one of the stout-like rye barrel beers.“

Perennial Artisan Ales Brewery • $
8125 Michigan Ave, St. Louis - 5.61 miles

“I've been coming here long enough without including a review that I felt it was time.I moved away from the area many years ago and recently moved back and started exploring the St. Louis craft scene. Perennial did not exist when I left, but several folks whom I work with recommended the spot.I don't always love the styles that Perennial presents, but can appreciate the consistency and representation of the style that is brewed by the company. You can tell that the quality is excellent and that Perennial is putting its signature on the beer. The taproom takes up the entire bottom floor of a loft building and has a cool vibe. There is a large outdoor area that is wonderful during warm weather and firepits for when it is chilly outside. Inside, there are ample amounts of seating options. What really sells the place for me is the staff. I typically travel around with my family and they always treat my kids very well. You can tell that the owners or brewers have children and bring them around here as it is equipped for kids to have some enjoyment as well. Particular highlights of staffing include Emily and Peggy, but everyone has been excellent.“
