I have been coming here since the 1980's! Just recently came back into town and had to have some Cashew Chicken and Hot & Spicy. Mr. Lee retired and someone else stepped in not sure his name. Doesn't matter because it tastes about the same and it definitely beats the "Cashew Chicken" we have in Texas.
Their cashew chicken is the best. Not in town. Not in the county or state. The best, in the world, period.I live states away now and I wish I had known what I had when I had it. People outside of Southwest MO don’t understand cashew chicken. And they sure as hell can’t make it. I’ve been served unbreaded chicken with dark brown sauce and vegetables other places. We tried Oriental Inn for the first time today because it came highly recommended by the locals. We dined in, and although it is a small place, it is clean and welcoming. Taylor, at the front counter was delightful and friendly. The chicken, the chicken is worth the trip, it is all white meat, battered and fried to golden perfection.
