RUF to the RESCUE
Had to edit my review from 2 years ago. This used to be a great place for frozen custard but not anymore. My orders are often wrong. I get the same thing every time but it looks totally different each time even when it's the correct ingredients. No two employees make it the same way. Tonight, I waited in the drive thru over 5 minutes only to find out their systems were down so they couldn't serve anything. There were multiple people working there so all they had to do was go out and put a sign on the menu board indicating that they were not able to take orders. While in line, I waited while two people in front of me sat at the menu board for 2 - 3 minutes each trying to decide what they were going to get and then drove to the window to place the order all while the employees inside just sat there and didn't bother to come out and let people know they weren't able to take orders. And when I got to the window, instead of just saying "I'm sorry we can't take orders cuz our systems are down", the employee took this roundabout way of telling me and I had to literally ask him to clarify what he was talking about. I asked him, very nicely "do you mean you can't serve me ice cream or you just can't take credit cards?" He just said again "um yah, the systems are down and well like, um, I can give you a sample. Here's a free thing for next time um, um, and yeah they're down sorry about that." I told him it was no problem at all, but that he could save people a lot of time if they put a note on the menu board. I swear I was nice about it. He acted like he didn't understand what I was asking. Maybe the dude was high, or maybe the place is being held up and gunpoint and that's why he was acting so weird. Who knows, but I won't be going back anymore because this is the fifth time things were messed up there.

Isn't $9 a bit too much for one banana split? And it wasn't even very large.

What in the hell is wrong with Andy's in St Louis? I have now been twice and both times were horrible. I fell in love with this chain in Springfield, Missouri and have realized that it is horrible everywhere else but Springfield, Missouri.I ordered mint Oreo! Check out the picture. Not so minty, eyyyy? It was basically a vanilla ice cream with random hints of mint every few bites. It was very disappointing! Why didn't I just take it back to the store and ask them to make it better? Oh... That's because the line and the service was horrible. I waited about a half hour in the drive-thru lane to order my ice cream. I wasn't able to get out either because there was other cars behind me. You couldn't order until you got to the window. That means that you had to wait for the car to get to the window, make their order, have their order made, pay for their order, and then drive away. It took a ridiculous amount of time to get your ice cream! One last thing, you pay a lot of money for premium ice cream. It's not cheap! But we pay it because we expect excellence. Look at the size of my ice cream! They couldn't even feel it to the top. I was overall very disappointed with my experience at this Andy's location. Something needs to change for this to get up to a standard that I'm used to at this wonderful ice cream chain. Stores like this are tainting the brand!

They have great custard, but it regularly takes 30+ minutes to get through 4 cars in the drive-through. Don’t come if you’re short on time.
Selfish with servings. Get more at Andy's on Dorset in Maryland Heights so we go there.

Brownie was hard and not enough custard in the bowl.

I've been there several times since they opened. The drive-thru line moves quickly even when it's around the building. Everything I've tried has been delicious!! ??
