Visited just following lunch at around 1:30 ish PM. Very few people dining in (two). I ordered an edamame appetizer and the menu item SASHIMI WITH A KICK (special “kick” spicy sauce). All items suited me. My only drawback to the experience was that the sashimi (two pieces) were really well refrigerated and affected my sensitive teeth. I will eat here again because I do follow MUNSOK SO.

The service here was terrible, an older blonde woman served us and another server came up halfway through saying that they share tables? I’ve never heard of this before in a service industry but for having 2 servers you would think the service would be amazing but it was anything but that. After she served our drinks she didn’t ask us if we were ready to order we had stop her from walking away just to put in our appetizers. After we received the appetizers from her she didn’t take our order and after we were done eating the appetizers we had to hunt down another server to take our order and that’s when she said they share tables? If that’s the case then somebody should have came up by then to at least take our order. Keep in mind there was only 5 tables sat in that restaurant along with 3 serves on, I would understand if they were fully booked but at that point you must be lazy to just not even care enough to come back and take our order. The first server was very off Standish and kinda rude, the second server was nicer I will give her the benefit of the doubt but coming from someone that works in the service industry I expected a lot better for what they charge at this place. It took her 3 times for me to ask her for a to go box just to receive it and then she also messed up our bill and had to come back and ask what it was again 3 more times. Honestly food was decent at best but I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for the service and quality for the price, but the one in central west end is way better.

If you enjoy actual sushi of good quality and not just bland dry rice wrapped around a scant amount of questionable looking seafood, do yourself a favor and skip this stop. This is the Geriatric hospital oatmeal version of sushi. You can get better sushi at a grocery store and that is really saying something. Also the water taste mildewy like actual ssa.

$8.00 domestic beer is absolutely ridiculous, more expensive than strip club beer, rolls are small and overpriced

Horrible customer service. Prices went up for almost less food! We waited 20min before some even greeted us. Definitely not coming back here!

My husband and I have been getting our same two favorite rolls, with the addition of 1-2 runner-up rolls + and an appetizer plate of gyoza, for almost 10 years! We cannot come to Drunken Fish without a White Tiger roll and Mango roll, and this time we added the Starburst roll as our runner-up favorite! The sushi is always fresh and the umami of the White Tiger followed by the Mango is unmatched. These rolls will have you doing the "mmm dance"--when the food is so delicious you just gotta do a little dance about it! This place is usually poppin' but we came after the lunch and before the dinner rush and our service was very considerate and timely! Even on busier occasions we have always received great service! We love the ambiance of Drunken Fish--you can come casual or dressed up for a special dinner but either way will leave happily full! Bonus: they have a great cocktail menu and don't close in the middle of the day like many other sushi restaurants!

Great place for sushi and the atmosphere is wonderful! I've been many times. I'm supposed to have 85 characters minimum....that is why you had to read this sentence.

Confidently located at Westport plaza, next to Sheraton. Five stars for service and ambience, food was ok. Vegetable gyoza was very ordinary..

Good food and nice atmosphere. We went there on a weekend. Server was good and offered us a dish for free since it arrived late. Would come back again.

The food was delicious. We had the lettuce wraps, sticky fries, mango roll and dragon roll. For dessert we had the strawberry cheesecake makimono. Every employee was very kind and helpful. I know they were understaffed due to bad weather but they all handled it so well.

I want to write an appreciation post to the General Manager at the Westport location, Nathan! The restaurant has unexpected short staff therefore our wait time to wrap up the order was delayed. Nathan made it right and stated he wanted to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. Nathan was professional and kind which is much appreciated these days! Thank you Nathan!

Very disappointed with service. We went to this a place on evening of February 5 because our favourite sushi place was closed. We were waiting about 10 minutes to be seated even though there were only 4 tables occupied. I would understand if they had lots of ppl but they weren’t busy at all. They didn’t offer us menu and water for another 20 minutes till I asked them to bring it. It looked like they just ignored us. And it took them another 20 minutes to take our order. Waitress was with negative attitude, couldn’t suggest drinks or meals. Food was ok, but with service like this it was our first and last visit. If you want to appeal to more people, consider training your employees how to do their job.

I was really excited to go to this location, but quickly realized that I should have gone to another when the manager yelled “aye” and waved me over to my table as if we were homies. Then, my server came to my table and appeared lifeless, mute and rude for no apparent reason. Haven’t been to this location in years, and today I remembered why. Please save your time and money.
