This place is amazing! Wood Hat Spirits is located right off of I-70 and is easy to spot from the road. They offer a lot of different whiskey/bourbon options that are made from local ingredients. If you like cask strength alcohols, they have those too. You can get a tasting of $5 for $5, which is a great deal. Over the years, I love stopping here either driving to, our driving from STL. I highlyrecommendthis place.

I have been enjoying their products for years. I stopped by on a Wednesday and got lucky they happened to be there on their day off. They could’ve just said they were closed, but they invited us inside and let us try several of their offerings. We happily paid the $5 tasting fee. I’m glad we lucked out because the Queen’s Reserve was delicious and I was able to buy a bottle. Great people, great craft whiskey!
