Can someone explain why the Nixa location is closed and IF/WHEN it may reopen??? They are the best Mexican restaurant in Nixa....so disappointed that they are closed.

I love El Lagos, have since they opened in Branson West, however today I stopped at their Nixa location which online says open with normal business hours, to a paper sign in the door that says temporarily closed. This is incredibly unprofessional, I get that stuff happens but please have the common courtesy to update your customers online. Especially in this day and age. Will continue to happily use the Branson West location, doubtful I will try this location again.

There were 7 people in our party and all of us were very happy w our experience!!! Seated and recd food very quickly! The chips, salsa and guac were delicious! Each member of our party ordered something different and enjoyed our meal! A lot of food for the money! We would definitely recommend and will be back again!

This review is for the NIXA El Lago. I have written great reviews for the Branson West restaurant in the past. This review is very similar. The speed of service is crazy good. The waiters are super responsive. The food is great. The very thin chips for appetizers are amazing. The salsa is free and they bring it as often as you need. This trip Marteen was our waiter and did a fabulous job. Definitely will return and recommend to all.

Would recommend. Last night of our trip to Branson, got it to go pick up. It was a long trip and exhaustion had set it so it was nice it was close and definitely edible. I wish I could remember more but my mind was blank by that point. I do remember the rice was SO good, unexpectedly good. Thank you for providing a meal when I needed it the most!

Great service and great cadillac margaritas. Yum! Food was also very good and quick once we ordered. Service staff seated us quickly, chips & salsa immediately and drink order very quick with food order perfectly timed. We'll be back and have it bookmarked.

The fastest restaurant ever. Food is good but not interesting. Service is fast. A big place with booths and tables. I like taco salad and enchilada.

The food tastes awesome, the portions are very large. I've been several times. We didn't even make it through our complimentary chips & salsa when our meal arrived. The service is 1st rate. Every time I drive by they are busy, a credit to their service & excellent food. I go at least twice a month. Definitely recommend.
